GOA Arbusto
Nice job everyone, I will read everone's stories tonight, but for now the front pages and points have been updated. lumpy.flippy, I'm hoping you PM'd your story to gillies? If so, good.
gillies
Please wait for a reply to your PM before posting your story in the future lumpy.flippy, if I'm not online you can also send it to Mainland Marauder who might be able to look at it more quickly. Bryce.
I had a hunch he hadn't PM'd his story to you, which is the reason I didn't add his point. Good lookin' out gillies. Expect a story from me this weekend, maybe a vid, but I doubt it.
lumpy.flippy
Sorry, actually i PM'ed my story to both Leaders: Gillies and Mainland Marauder as stated and once i got clearance from Mainland i posted my story, so i dont see how i had violated the rules. Since i assumed that the role of El Presidente was highest i though i had posted my stories legitmately.
gillies
No problem, but if you send it to just one person next time it will help avoid confusing us.
lumpy.flippy
Sorry about the confusion... But i thought we had to PM to faction leaderS... So sorry, but next time should i pm to gillies or mainland??? btw do i get a point?
gillies
No worries. To get the fastest response it's best to send it to whoever is online at the time (check the bulb graphic next to our usernames, if it's yellow that person is online, if not they aren't). You'll get a point, it can just take a little while for the first page to be updated but don't worry you won't be missed out.
Snares
I think I may get a story posted today and maybe even another tomorrow, I have a lot of free time before I go to Germany on Thursday. Congrats Nick, forgot to mention it in CSM chat.
Oddsock
Intereference with Interdiction Pt. I Luckily, the mission I had done gave me a bit of the spotlight in the eyes of some ROSA officials, and they FINALLY delivered some aircraft and maintenance parts I had ordered. Three new Rustlers and a Hydra, plus plenty of parts and ordnance. The Rustlers were great; Nice and shiny, and each matched, with a baby-blue bottom that instantly changed into a desert camo on the top. The top of the fuselage was covered in a blood-red band with an even smaller stripe of green on top of that. The rudders were checkered in these two colors as well. I had just finished loading up two of the four Rustlers with bombs (one other had a mix of rockets and bombs, and the other had bombs and a fuel tank) when I heard the phone ringing inside the AC tower. I scrambled to answer it in time. I picked it up, and before it was even at my ear, I heard Bryce, yelling. "OdDsOcK, A convoy has been raided in the desert! You know, THE convoy! You're close, move the hell out and provide some CAS! NOW!" he yelled. It was a panicked but "I'm-in-control" sort of yell. At least he wasn't completely out of his mind. Instantly I grabbed my flight gear and chose a plane. To Be Continued BTW, Phusion, tank shells are dumb weapons. They cannot use IR or heat-sensing technology, especially since shells are basically smooth-headed cones. They have no fins to guide them, nor any propulsion to interrupt their starting path. That plus a missile following a Techinal is highly unlikely, since the desert is very hot and a still-warming-up truck engine probably won't compare with that of the desert heat or even the Rhino (if the shell magically managed to turn around). Bryce.
Great story sock, I'm sorry I'm such an asshole on the phone sometimes Gillies is working with some of the coding on the front tables right now, so soon everything should look quite different. I retabled a few things as well as updating some of the medals. I'll ask gillies to update points before he logs out.
Lochie_old
You guys are ROSA, you have all the latest technology. Anyway, Im not a smart cookie with all this army stuff, . Thanks for the tip but. Mainland approved it. ============================== Phusion hit the brakes, the car stopped near the trees. "GRAB HIM AND RUN!" Bada yelled at James, James jumped out of the passenger seat, ran to the back of ute and put Eric's arm around him, "We'll meet you..." BANG! A grenade went off about 10 feet away, "MEET YOU AT ECHO!" Bada roared, James hobbled off with Eric around him. Phusion grabbed his Tec-9 and took cover behind some trees, Bada followed him. "Sir, the ROSA troops which came out from the sand are advancing" Phusion said, "I know that, were gonna need to cause a diversion..." Some twigs snapped, Bada and Phusion turned around saw a man moving with his gun. "You Sep's are so screwed!" The man laughed, "Who are you?" Bada asked, "Eddie... Eddie Sin..." Phusion let off a round of Tec-9 bullets into his chest. Bada walked over to the body and ripped off his dogtags, "Eddie Sindacco, Rebel scum... Some must be in the area" He smiled, "Why are you smiling?" Phusion wondered. "You look alot like this guy, change uniforms, I've got a plan" Several minutes of quick changing, Bada quickly climbed a tree, as Phusion figured out the Rebel squad's frenquency and passed a message, "Repeat, this is Eddie Sindacco, I am currently near some ROSA troops who are charging into the trees, all Rebel members report to me" He said, he waited for a while and got a message back, "Coming now, over" The rebel group arrived, Phusion told them to stay here. Just then Bada let off a shot, Phusion quickly hit the ground. "Oh god my leg! They got my leg!" He cried as blood poured out, "The ROSA troops are here!" Someone yelled, they made a circle around Phusion. ROSA troops poured into the small location and let off magazine after magazine on poor, unsuspecting rebel troops. "Thats the last of them" One ROSA troop snickered, just then Bada let off a round of M-4 ammo from the trees, most of the troop's head's exploded. Two took leg wounds and the final two members had lost their gun hand. Phusion got up, re-loaded his Tec-9 and sprayed the 3 troops, he then approached the final ROSA troop, who's gun hand was bleeding furiously, he was also missing two fingers. "Radio into your home base, and tell them that your squad is down. A car has exploded, and Rebel's took you out in the mayhem that followed, got it?" He said coldly, "No!" The troop cried, "I hope this wouldn't happen..." Phusion pointed his Tec-9 straight at the man's groin. "Do it, or else I'll shoot you in the nuts, and I'll leave you here to live... Now how much would that suck?" "NEVER!" Phusion went to squeeze the trigger, "OK! I WILL!" The trooper yelled, he grabbed his radio and relayed the message. "Good, say hi to your fellow comrades" And Phusion let off his Tec-9 straight into the mans chest. Oddsock
Nice story...but time to mess with it. AGAIN! First off, the M67 Fragmenation Grenades, the one we use, has a killing radius of 5m, or 15 feet. Snares
Now it's turned explosive... Bryant tugged at his mothers hand. "C'mon moms`" She wouldn't budge, she was still nervous. The black van pulled up beside her again, Bryant still clueless as to what was happening. She took a last look at the Grove St. roadsign, her home. The front window rolled down. "We told you Mrs. O'Neill, he could come at the rebels demise or yours." The door swung open, and the black-suited man grabbed her child, dragging him into the back of the vehicle. There was a bright flash from the front window. She fell over dead in a puddle of blood. ---- Snares was out on routine patrol of his land, with his rifle slung over his shoulder, he kept his SD Pistol in the glove cabinet of the Turbo. He passed the armory next to his house where some rookies were having a game of target practice. He walked into his house. Dale was still passed out on the kitchen table from last night, with about twenty bottles of Coors around him. The small phone on the wall rang. "Hello?" "A' yo *Dale falls off the table* man, I need you down here now, now!" said the voice. "Hey Tony, your still in the projects right?" "Yeah. Apartment 7A." ---- The Turbo swung around the bend down the side road and pulled up to the kerb. This was definitely Ganton. The sidewalks were cracked and uneven, the roads had potholes the size of small craters and there was more cops than at a station. Snares pulled his hoodie over himself and flipped up the hood. Slowly he walked down the projects pathways until he came to Tony's block. In he went and knocked his door. Tony looked through his letterbox. "Hey man. It ain't safe to talk here, meet me at the Ten Green Bottles in five minutes, it's just down the street." Snares sat on the hood of his Turbo in the bar's carpark. He checked his watch, Tony was just across the street, he motioned him to go in. The bar seemed an ok place, nobody noticed Snares was the only white guy because he tried to conceal himself as best he could. They sat at a table. "Good to see you again Tony, when was it last? High school?" "Yeah, I saw you a few days ago at Verdant Bluffs dragging a guy out." "Oh... that..." "Don't worry man, I know you're in the Rebels, I considered it myself. Look, I need some help." Tony motioned for him to sit closer. "There's some weird stuff happening here. Now, the local street gang are helping me with information for a buck, but I need a Rebel like yourself to take the final step. Here's what we have. Since sometime last year, a few ROSA Agents, the real deal, moved into a warehouse in East Los Santos. Some of these guys roll around in vans, and they been stealin' kids from people and taking them to this warehouse. We aren't positive, but we think they are trying to create an army of elite soldiers, man, it's like something froma f*cking video game." "Ok, so I'm guessing you want me to whack a guy?." "Not directly, I need ya to bomb the warehouse. Try and get as many kids out as you can, but don't waste too much effort, they'll be brainwashed with propaganda already." ---- Snares used the old canals throughout the area for meetings. He wouldn't need any assitance on the actual job, just supplying. He had been surveilling the warehouse in Tony's car . It had a basement carpark, and he'd spotted pillars in it, which looked like they held up the entire structure. This would be easy, a little undercover, and he'd be in. And he'd also spotted a bus with kids in it leaving everday at midday and hedding up north to Red County, perhaps for field training. He would do it then. In one of the canals, he arranged a meeting with a bomber from Idlewood, Kwik. He would need four bombs powerful enough to shatter the pillars and above roof. He spotted Kwik roll down on a chopper. ---- Sergeant Harold James was on patrol in ELS. He hated the ROSA government, but he had been a cop his whole life, and knew the job well. As he walke around the corner he was dragged down an alleyway by two masked guys, one black and the other white. "Give us your uniform motherf*cker!" screamed the black guy. "What?" he cried in total confusion. "He ain't gonna give us it." said the white guy, stepping back with a Silenced Pistol drawn. The shot went right through Harold's head. "Score." said Snares. Back at the apartment, Snares tried on the uniform, a bit big, but nothing that would give it away. He just nodded at Tony and walked out to the black Tahoma he had. Many cops prefered normal cars, it was less dangerous than using police vehicles. Kwik said he'd leave the bombs in a pink bag around the corner in a dumpster from the warehouse. Snares pulled the car up on the kerb, and looked for the bombs. Nothing there, damn, where were they? He looked around and saw a young kid with the bag looking through it on the other side of the road. Snares drew his pistol and aimed at the kid. "Drop the bag slowly!" The kid was so scared he threw the bag right at Snares and dashed down the street. Snares checked the bag, they were intact. He pulled a comb and tidied his long hair, composed himself, and got back into the Tahoma, turning on the tape he'd recorded earlier to make it appear as if he had a police radio onboard. The car stopped infront of the pull-down gate, he beeped the horn. A guy left the building and walked up to him. He was wearing total black. Black suit, trousers, shirt and tie. "Hello sir, what do you want?" "I'm Sergeant..." Snares looked briefly at the badge on the suit. "Harold James. I was sent here to deliver some personal belongings of Marshall Mike_Toreno, he wanted one of the agents here to have them." "This is a secret operation, how do the police know about it?" questioned the guard, staring coldly at Snares. "I don't know what's going on here, I was just told to deliver these things to an agent here." "Very well." the guard twirled a finger and the pull-down opened. Snares tried to drive calmly down. He observed the area. The pillars were there, a few cars, and a control room next to the pull-down, where he spotted the guard sit down and read a newspaper. He got to work. Kwik said to place the charges in the middle of each pillar. He took it one at a time, carefully placing each bomb, making sure it was all intact, finally he took out the main charge and set it at 60 seconds. He drew his pistol and walked up to the window. He saw the guard about to scream. Clat. Clat. Clat. Clat. Clat. The window was smashed, he vaulted through, grabbing the guards ID. He walked out the front of the building, keeping calm, when he was across the road, there was huge explosion. The building crashed down and spread across the road. Job done. He thought to dump the cop uniform, but no. He would keep the cop uniform, it would be useful equipment.

Lochie_old
Phusion and Oddsock present to you, a story of both accounts! =============== "Whats our best option now?" Phusion asked, "We take the Picador and try to re-group with the rest of Sep's" Bada said, they ran over to the parked Picador, Phusion got into the drivers seat while Bada took control of Eric's gun, a zoom went on overhead. "Jesus christ, that looks like a Hydra..." Phusion was scared, he managed to out-drive a tank shell, but no-one had been able to out-run a Hydra missile, these babies had all the latest technology and were being updated every day with more easier ways to follow their target. "What do we do?!" Yelled Phusion scared, "Pray to God!" Bada screamed back, and with that Bada put a gun to his head and made a hole in his head, "God damnit, god damnit!" Phusion screeched to a halt hoping the Hydra would over shoot him and have to take him head on, no such luck. This pilot was skilled. Just then Phusion heard several explosions, sh*t, hes already firing? Phusion thought, he summed up his options, all outcomes looked like death... Unless! Phusion looked around for a cliff, with such luck he found one, he sped up, the pilot started shooting more missiles, but these just made Phusion turn to the left abit, but to the left wasn't a pretty site, tons of jagged rocks bound to kill anyone, another missile went off, and it was heading straight for Phusion's Picador! "Thats just great isn't it?" He was angered, after all this a simple missile would put an end to him, but the missile exploded in the air, the Hydra had dissappeared, but by now Phusion couldn't pull out from going off the cliff. "Parachute... Wheres a parachute?" He yelled, he managed to fix his Tec-9 so that it would keep pressure on the gas, Phusion quickly jumped in the tray, blood and brain was everywhere. Phusion was disgusted, but he searched the back, but then he saw a strap on Bada's front, he turned him over and there it was, a parachute! He grabbed it and quickly jumped into the front again. Luckily his Tec-9 trick had worked, but he had gone off-course a little, so with speed he jerked the steering wheel back to the right, he was about 100 metres away from the cliff, but then something appeared that would put an end to him, the Hydra floated above, head-on-head in pointblank range, a missile went off. Phusion was screwed, he opened the side door, the car and missile were just about to collide, Phusion plunged into the world below, expecting to hit hard rock, but he was still in the air. He opened his eyes, and he saw he was in mid-air, he pulled his parachute strap. Just as he heard a giant explosion, the Picador's exploded body had collided with the Hydra, a woosh went past him, it was a man on a chair... The pilot must have ejected, a hand grabbed him and Phusion was pulled down fast. To Be Continued ================ Oddie will post his later when get gets on. ~Phusion
Oddsock
Here ya go Phusion: I arrived at the ambush site quickly, since it was just a while away. There seemed to be no vehicles to attack, so my bringing the Mavericks was kind of useless. I zoomed low over the battlefield, making myself known to those on the ground, both friend and foe. At that speed it would have been easy to be targeted by a missile, but even easier to shake it. No missile lock. No opposition. Turkey shoot. My Hydra was just pulling around when my eyes fixated on a Picador making a run for it. Not the most special target, but it would lower the Seps' morale, seeing their only vehicle being destroyed behind their lines. I angled down torwards the Picador and selected my AGM-65 Maverick missiles, hoping they might be able to find the engine of the Picador in the desert heat. The small search diamond locked lazily on to the Picador and a high-pitched tone sounded. I fired. "Fox Two." The missile streaked ahead, and apparently the Picador driver saw it, and swerved. The missile didn't. I fired another. The Picador driver swung to the left, behind the explosion of the first missile. The second missile became fixated on the explosion and dove into it, creating an even deeper hole. Two missiles left. I was just about to fly over the Picador when I fired again, hoping the very short route would guarantee a hit. Wrong. It curved down, then straightened out and clipped the cliff ahead. I rushed over the cliff edge, then pulled myself up and around. The Picador wasn't going anywhere else but the cliff. Lemmings? I lowered the throttle and put the craft down at cliff-edge level. I finally had a plan: the cliff was filled with less heat from being in the sun less, so hitting the target was easier, especially when I was going head on. We neared each other and I fired. The Picador ran off the cliff, to my surprise, and I saw something large come off of it. For a half-second I focused on it, and suddenly the flaming corpse of the Picador, struck by the missile, hit my plane with a huge BOOM, almost like an explosion. I looked to my instruments. Hundreds of warnings were beeping and bopping and screaming. The warning lights looked like the interior of a dance club. Most read about something wrong with the left wing. "LEFT WING FUEL TANK," "LEFT WING AVIONICS," etc. I looked to my left wing. Except there was none. Instinctively I pulled the levers beside me up. In an instant, my safety harnesses pulled taut against me, my legs locked in, and the canopy jettisoned. I lost control of my senses for an eternity, and suddenly I was dangling from an olive-drab parachute. I looked up, then down. Before I could react, I hit the cliff's edge, or a few feet from it. My parachute caught the wind and dragged me off, whirling me around like a pendulum. I smacked into the ground rolling, and the world flashed. I halted. Bryce.
Operation Sunday Pt. 3: Le Finale I woke up to a call coming in at 02:30 hours. It has been raining like crazy for the past two days as well as snowing at night. It wasn't pretty weather at all. Bryce.:Hello? GOA Arbusto: Bryce. we've just recieved word that there has been a break in at Area 69. Raw Uranium was stolen, but the theifs seem to have been hijacked by someone else. There was surveillance cameras that picked up a scuffle between to people and resulted in one running away and the other driving off in a forklift with the Uranium. After that, we have no clue what happened next. We do however know that the person running away had a yellow arm band on, most likely signifying that he is a Separtatist. However, that is just speculation. Bryce.: So you think that it was a Rebel who hijacked the thief? GOA Arbusto: Most likely. And we are willing to bet it was MI7. We've recieved word two minutes ago that there was a truck speeding down passed Blueberry Acres with a forklift on top of it. This is all too much of a coincidence. We have OdDsOcK on route to the vehicle's last location, in a Maverick. Bryce.: Have him pick me up before sir, I want to be the one who brings this guy down. GOA Arbusto: Affirmative I grabbed my tactical gear off of the shelf and strapped it on. I then loaded up two mags full of armor piercing rounds as well as an additional two clips full of hollow tips. These would be nice and painful for MI7. I left my Glock 37, I was sure I wouldn't need it. Walking outside, a huge dust storm errupted over me. It was OdDsOcK flying in. I saluted to him, he did the same. As I got in, I saw OdDsOcK had customized the maverick with a turret that could be controlled via TV. I sat in the co-piolet's seat and readied myself for battle. After 40 minutes of flight, we spotted a Packer heading toward San Fierro. It didn't have a forklift on it, but rather a elongated shaft on top. It had to be a god damn missle. I pointed OdDsOcK in the direction of the truck. He did a hard bank and pulled us 200 yards in front of the vehicle, about 300 feet up. I knew what I was about to do was suicide, but I had to try, we were less than 2 minutes away from the city. So I jumped. I had never been so god damn scared in my life. I was falling fast as well. I quickly pulled the shoot. My descent to death was haulted. THe truck started coming faster and faster. At the rate I was falling, I would be way behind the truck by the time I got to the ground. I quickly pulled out my MP5, which was attached to my harness, in the front. It was stuck but I pulled it hard enough to where I could at least aim with it. I put two holes through my parachute. I began to fall much quicker. I was now 90 fett up in the air and the truck was less than 200 and baring down on me. I held my breath. I then sank down do 20 feet. Just as the truck was about to go past me, I released my harness and fell directly on to the pack of the packer. However, I did a nasty landing and rolled off the edge. Quickly, I grabbed on and held on for dear life. Out of nowhere, someone in the passanger seat started shooting his gun all over the damn place. I pulled myself up and tried to walk. I failed. My left ankle was shattered. I could barely move. I started crawling towards the front of the Packer. I was now ontop of the "cock-pit" and I leaned over the windshield and pointed my gun. At the driver. To my horror, no one was in it the driver's seat. There was what looked to be a remote controll machine that was driving the truck. I looked back, getting up off of his feet 100 yards back was the passanger. He had dove out when I got to the front. I then looked forward. I was now into SF, but I was nearing towards the fork in the highway. I needed to get off fast. I radioed to OdDsOcK to fly the heli low and fast enough so I could grab on. He did so. He was within five feet of my reach. I then looked forward and saw another truck speeding parallel to mine. Somone was in the bed of the truck with an M29 pointed right at me. The world went in slow motion. The last thing I remember was the gleam of the scope and the reflection of the light off of it... Well people, after six months, I have decided to leave ROSA for a bit. I will no longer be leader nor will I write for it anymore. OdDsOcK has been promoted to Field Marshall accordingly and will take my place. He is the longest running member of ROSA except for MI7. All ROSA stories will now be PM'd to him. Also note that this story took place after OdDsOcK and Phusion's stories. Thank you all for making this such a great experience for me. I may decide to rejoin ROSA in a few months, but as of now, I am done. However, if MI7 permits me, I will continue to help out and update points. Thank you, again. Edited May 30, 2006 by Bryce.
