DuPz0r
Looks cool, now all you need to do is retexture the whole of libery city so it fits in with the cars
rebel_36
''itll be done in about a week'' wtf, i thought gta3 uses the refmap in the particles.txd? or did you add the refmaps to all the vehicles txds? or did you assign a refmap in zmod/max/* ? anyway, looks neat but at the same time strange in gta3
gta_playa
I'll be done in a week, probably more now, because it makes all the cars look lighter and because I can only work on it the 10 minutes a day my parents aren't home because I'm not allowed on my pc. (Failing a class) And yes the reflection map is in particle.txd.

Quadropheniac90
@TM: Just because you think it's cool, doesn't mean the author of the mod thinks it is. @gta_playa: Nice mod! I like the new look of the cars.
gta_playa
How to post a mod??
GTAThomas
You'll first want to find a place to upload your mod. But I would strongly recomend using a script installer if you're changing every cars particle file. Manually, that would take ages to do, and thus, people would not download your files. gta_playa
No, you only have to change one texture and it's alpha. Where to upload files??
JostVice
You can upload your mods in www.gtagarage.com

Mouzerball1000
I'm pretty sure I saw a mod like this, but I'm not accusing you of anything because it was different (before SA, cars had an extremely odd sheen to them) but just saying this was done. I like this better, though because it seems more realistic than the one I saw a long time ago.
gta_playa
All I did was change the sa reflection colors and make it go all the way around since GTA3 and GTA:SA handle the reflection differently. Thats probably why mine looks better. And if I'd of known someone already made this mod, I wouldn't of wasted my time remaking it; for those of you who might asume I "stole" the mod. (not directed toward Mouzerball1000, were cool.) Hmm... I need to make a readme. (edit) Done! Awaiting approval on GTAgarage. All bugs are fixed! (edit2) approved! Download here! Mouzerball1000
I'd give it a 10-10, it adds a realistic touch to an old favorite.
