Sniper Rifle moves in jerks- Pier 69

Hi,

 

 

What's the trick in moving the sniper rifle quickly & accurately in mission Pier 69.

 

It does in free mode but in jerks, by the time Woozie's guys go boom.

 

I use a 8 button gamepad cum (don't get it wrong) 2 joysticks inbuilt. P4, 512 Ram

I can`t help you with the speed by you can try to check the locations from where the guys are coming from and learn them , so you would be a step ahead , and buy some time.

You don't have to use the rifle if you're having a problem with it. The trick in this mission is to switch to a light weapon, jump off from where you are then sprint towards that small door of the cottages where the Triads are postioned, and you'll be transported atop to where the Triads are. You can then just shoot the Rifas conveniently with any other deadly weapon. Once you've killed them, you'll be mysteriusly transported back again beside Cesar on the roof where you first found yourself postioned.

Thanks a lot for, I tried to sprint across once, before I reached the door, all were dead, guess I must have been slow.

Just switch to a lighter weapon and you'll be fine.

I always use this mission as a test of sniper rifle prowess though

 

This is where a controller like that of the PS2 has an edge over the keyboard - pressure sensitivity and the analog stick. I can imagine it's hard to do manual aim well on a PC keypad.

you might want to use your mouse for this, and turn mouse sensitivity down so it scrolls less with your movements. this can allow for less jerky shots and smoother scrolling.
