csgrambauer
I was just curious as to whether or not I am allowed to use certain people's compilations on the website I have just started up recently. The following are the compilations I was wondering if I am allowed to use. Obviously I would give credit to theses people. I'd never steal credit from anyone, I just wanted to do the right thing and ask first. 1. Edison Carter's codes for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 2. Skiller's codes for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 3. And of course Mxyzptlk's Secrets & Easter Eggs. My site will be the http://absolutegtasa.proboards106.com/ However I am still new at this and it's only me trying to make this a good site, so progress is slow at the moment, that's why I was asking for help by contributing Edison Carter's, Skiller's and Mxyzptlk's work as well, and yes giving them credit of course. Mike_Toreno
Ask them for yourself, the compliations don't belong to us, they belong to the owners. PM edisoncarter and Skiller, I'm sure they won't mind as long as you give credit and you give them a link to the site so they can check once in a while that credit is still being given for it. However, Mxyzptlk left the forums (sadly) a while ago. I say left... eh, I think he still browses anonymously and such but doesn't really post anymore, but by all means PM him and ask, it's not for us to decide whether you have permission to do such a thing. Edit: oh and I doubt they (with exception of Mxy.. I guess [if he still browses the SA forum]) would have even seen this topic, if that's what you were wondering. csgrambauer
Oh sorry, no you's misunderstood me. I wasn't asking the players, I just posted here incase any of them 3 people might browse here. I've been searching for some addresses to Skiller and Edison Carter for a while and on every site I've come across (including www.maxbot.com) doesn't have their addresses (i.e. e-mails, etc) to send a letter to. Apparently Edison Carter is well known for being a very private man, so an address for him seems to be non-existant even more. But I was hoping someone might have the addresses for these two guys. It's sad I missed out on asking Mxyzptlk if I can use his Easter Eggs compilation as well. Well thanks anyway. Sorry to bother you's.
Mike_Toreno
No, no, no. You can ask these people for permission. You don't have to send them any e-mails. On this forum we have what is called a Personal Message System and is used to simply, transfer messages to people. It's an easy way to contact someone if you're in need. Here, I'll make it simple for you. Click here to PM Mxyzptlk Click here to PM Edison Carter Click here to PM Skiller Anything else?

Mainland Marauder
A good bit of that information is posted elsewhere on the Internet, if not exactly in the same form as it exists here on the Forums. Some of it may or may not have been copied from here, I don't know. But yes, PM is the way to go when wanting to ask someone a question directly. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be."
