Fireman
Yes we do The gta.dat is wrong you have to put the line under savehouse.IPL! Also if you start a new game it shouldn't happen neither.
GT.Killer
The gta.dat is wrong you have to put the line under savehouse.IPL! So, exterrior enex teleport ipl "entry" (or what ever..) has to be placed under "savehouse.ipl" line, in gta.dat file to make it work correctly.. CharlieDu
it will ONLY work if i change the other teleporter yellow marker (eg. change the skylan2 or whatever) anyone know how to create a new one? that will be great and i will upload the code soon (because gtasa is installed on my other comp)
jarjar
Yes we do The gta.dat is wrong you have to put the line under savehouse.IPL! Also if you start a new game it shouldn't happen neither. Ah sorry Fireman, i didn't realize that was the problem he was having. I understand what the topic is about now. Also it's savehous.IPL . Not to worry. Okay so anyway, heres a quick run down of how to create a new teleport: First off open NotePad, and insert this: instendcullendpathendgrgeendenexendpickendjumpendtcycendauzoendmultend ^Thats the basic structure of a IPL File. Now go down to Enex and add this line below it: X1, Y1, Z1, ROT, R1, R2, C8, X2, Y2, Z2, Rot2, Int, Mark, Name, Sky, I2, Time On, Time Off Then customize it by using this tutorial spaceeinstein made here. EnexCreates interior connection to real world CODE X1, Y1, Z1, ROT, R1, R2, C8, X2, Y2, Z2, Rot2, Int, Mark, Name, Sky, I2, Time On, Time Off XYZ1 - entrance location ROT - ??? R1 - X radius of entry R2 - Y radius of entry C8 - constant 8 XYZ2 - exit location Rot2 - exit rotation in degrees Int - The target interior number Mark - The type of marker Name - interior name, used to find the counterpart and to identify via mission script Sky - Sky color changer I2 - unknown integer flags, could be weather related Time On - enables the marker at this time Time Off - disables the marker at this time Secondly, once you have made your teleport save it as an .ipl file. Example: File->Save As->Save As Type = All Files-> File Name= myteleport.ipl (can be what ever you want, just remember the .ipl at the end, and it must be in the data folder somewhere, san andreas can't find it or read it unless it's in the data folder or in sub-folder in there). Now save it in your GTA San Andreas/data/maps folder (or a customized folder of your choice). Then open gta.dat in NotePad and scroll down untill you see "# interiors". Below it it should have "IPL DATA\MAPS\interior\int_LA.IPL". Simple below the list of ones with IPL at the start in the "# interiors" catagory add yours, like so: IPL DATA\MAPS\mytelelport.IPL If your file has a diffrent name or is placed in a diffrent folder you will need to edit that code to point to the location of your file. I think that about covers it, any questions?
Fireman
@ jarjar - Yarr that's good! @ CharlieDu - I don't understand you say it only work when you change the skylan2? You mean copy it and place your own coordinates in it or you mean when you change the name. I think I finally found it to make an interior re-usable. All the interiors are in the interior section with alays the same entrance and exit-coordinateas (in the sky). I think the file in interior folder makes a interior to be able to be used more then once the only thing you need to do now to use it is to put it in another IPL (for exmaple country.IPL) and use the same name you used in the interior.IPL
CharlieDu
i finally figure it out. if you want to make a OUTSIDE to OUTSIDE teleporter, you need two lines under the enex: hope you can understant the explaination;) *(you NEED BOTH lines in order to get working)* 889.3707 (teleporter marker x cord), -2640.935 (teleporter marker y cord), 1.198438 (teleporter marker z cord), 0, 3, 3 (those things are the radius of the quick little cutscene when cj enter it), 8 (always remain same), 783.126, -2641.067, 1.230505(EXIT LOCATION FROM the OTHER TELEPORTER THAT YOU MADE, it's the below one in here, marked red), 0(exit rotation), 0(INTERIOR NUMBER, IF IT'S OUTSIDE TELEPORTER, ALWAYS WRITE '0'), 70(TYPE of MARKER, but seems doesn't do anything to me), "CJIsleUn"(The name, it doesn't effect anything), 0(Weather Colour), 2(Something unknown), 0(times on), 24(times off) 880.8738(teleporter marker x cord), -2641.9262(teleporter marker y cord), -54.8419(teleporter marker z cord), 0, 3, 3 (those things are the radius of the quick little cutscene when cj enter it), 8 (always remain same), 893.658, -2641.1657, -57.38387(EXIT LOCATION FROM the OTHER TELEPORTER THAT YOU MADE, it's the above one in here, marked blue), 180(exit rotation), 0(TARGET INTERIOR NUMBER, IF YOU WRITE WRONG, THE INTERIOR YOU ENTERED MAY LOOK WIRED), 66(TYPE of MARKER, but seems doesn't do anything to me), "CJIsleUn"(The name, it doesn't effect anything), 0(Weather Colour), 2(Something unknown), 0(times on), 24(times off) ***Diagonally Teleport***** OUTSIDE to INSIDE OR INSIDE to OUTSIDE *(you need both lines {however, you can use one line to just create one teleporter})* Have a good look at it, it is conpletely different from the above one (this one is from cj's house to CJISle) 2490.575, -1699.871, 1013.642(TELEPORTER MARKER X,Y,Z Cords), 0, 2, 2, 8(Same as Above as a stated), 274.9807, -2111.608, 1.5(EXIT LOCATION FROM THE FIRST MARKER) , 180, 0(Because it teleports to a exterior, you dont need to write the interior number in), 70,(Same as above) "CJIsle", 18, 2, 0, 24(Same as Above as a stated) 274.7557, -2106.141, 2.0, 0, 2, 2, 8, 2495.944, -1708.391, 1014.242, 0(Same as Above as a stated), 3(Because it teleports from exterior world to interior world, you need to check out the interior number from the folder "interior" in data\\maps, if you dont write the proper number, the interior looks weird eg. totally black, totally mirror-like), 66, "CARLS1", 12, 2, 0, 24 (Same as Above as a stated) ****Horizontally Teleport**** took a time to read that huh
jarjar
^ You might want to close the color tags with: [/color] It's very hard to read everything you have put, it's not very grammerly correct. Sorry, i'm proberly to picky. So have you go everything it working the way you want it to now?
