what i really wud love wud be the hatchet from lcs back maybe a tie in wit james earl cash u often hear carcer city mentioned so why not a bonus disc wit a ten minute movie like da one from the sa soundtrack wit the trailers and stuff on it dat wud be klass if it was longer dan lcs bein quite honest it doesnt even bother me wot they put in or out there makin it so im happy stop askin for things of epic proportions like goin into space wake up its not going to happen ámadán!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For starters I hope this game comes out on PS2 eventually. I want there to be swimming(the waters of VC are beautiful), other planes besides damn skimmer, climbing, go to stores to buy clothes, the eating to survive thing from SA, well for that matter the build up skills, set in the mid 90's(although I don't think that will happen because of the fact in LCS it told a story of Toni and how he bacame what he is in GTA 3) so it will probably be in the early 80's, I hope the hotring/dirtring/bloodring challenges is still there, would like to see Tommy as main character but Mitch Baker would be cool as well, more bikes like in SA, and some new vehicles like maybe a '68-'70 Dodge Charger look-a-like. That about covers what I want to see from VCS I'm sure will make it good.

Allright, it'd be tough for anything new added without a decent reconstruction of the Vice City engine, but we can dream.

 

VICE CITY Engine. I mean buying all sorts of land, and unlocking missions and such for them.

Slightly reconfigured bike physics - Bikes felt better, and more realisitc in San Andreas.

Planes, tranes, helicopters, boats, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, jetpacks, and every other type of vehicle we've seen in the GTA series so far.

LCS' clothing system. It worked just fine.

Lots of weapons. A real focus on melee class weapons.

BRING BACK THE MALLS! Tool stores, vehicle lots, gun shops, and what we've seen in Vice City.

San Andreas' turf wars and gang collecting. I also loved the AI driveby system, so that you could fight back when you ran like hell.

No more phantom planes. Please? PLEASE?

The jumping, grabbing, and climbing from San Andreas. It'd even be great to have the helicopter legs as grabbable points, so that you could jack low-flying police choppers.

 

I guess that's all I can think of for now as far as the engine goes.

And for the story!

80's, HAS to be. I think Vice City would lose a large amount of it's charm if it was set modern day. I think San Andreas' character customization would be fantastic, but I'd be plenty happy with LCS' clothing.

 

I think you should be a fresh new face. An entirely new character. You play at the same time Vice City takes place. You start out by hearing about random crimes commited by a familar face, namely Tommy Vercetti. As you listen to the radio, you could hear about important missions like gang wars, or the bank heist. You'd be able to visit the places that Tommy owns, as he collects them in game. You might even see our favorite negahero running from the cops on occaision. Towards the end of the game, you'd be able to do missions for Tommy, and then become his second-hand man.

Doing all this while you raise yourself in the ranks in a story full of deceit, greed, lust, and lots and lots of bloodshed. You need to make a name for yourself, and some familar faces might take notice...

I doubt this will happen, but it would be funny non-the-less. LCS had snow, so will VCS? Again I doubt we would see snow in a year round sunny place, but it would be FAF if we saw snow on the beach

here's my idea:

 

we get to Vice City more or less at the same time that Tommy does. We confront him once, while our character and Tommy are still nobody's, and there's a rivalry right away - it ends when Tommy doesnt see us around anymore, he thinks we left VC.

 

but we really work our way to the top. we avoid Tommy, but we're following his career. After completing about half the missions in VCS we hear that Tommy's house is being attackted, and we see an opportunity. Mr.Vercetti wins with Sonny, Lance and their crew. We see the exact same cutscene which was the last one in GTA: Vice City, but we can see our character in the corner, hiding. Tommy walks happily with Ken Rosenberg. And in the moment the scene ends in Vice City, our character pulls out a gun and shoots Tommy in the head, and lets Rosenberg escape. We take over Tommys assets and such.

I cool thing GTA VCS could have is helicopters and to have EVERY roof as a solid and to use the SA style height system so it works out as the skies the limit and not halfway up this building! also, if they decide to include swimming then you should be prey to a shark or if u swim through a mass of jelly fish you lose health. and lastly, like ell said turn the golf course into a swamp! that would Rock! espiecally a GTA protoganist eating croc/aligator lol

I'd bet money that swimming wont be in VCS. Just for the simple fact it didn’t get implemented into LCS. Although it would be good to, I like the whole storyline that Vice and Liberties waters are too polluted to swim in. SAS (if that comes around) would have swimming.

1. The only reason you didnt swim in LCS is because that was no ocean floor, and all three levels were surrounded by concrete walls. LC was never made to be swam in, but VC has beaches..ect..

 

2. Are you saying that VC is polluted water... I can see LC being pollouted.. but look at VC water once.. Crystal clear and for god sakes, it sparkles

I hope that VCS will have swimming and that the multiplayer mode will allow you to play online and that multiplayer mode will allow you to go in the same car together when you're on the same team.

i would like to be able to play as more than one character. i would like to play as candy suxxx, mitch baker, ect.

more property and buissness. there should aslo be alternate endings, you have choices what you do in the past reflects on what happens in the end.

as the main character tommy, mitch baker, or candy suxxx, is what i waant to see. It should be set in the 80's with rock music, maybe the main character could be a rock star? it would be cool to have more than one ending, and to be able to play as a couple of different characters. it would be nice to have more companies like a record company, a garage(chop shop), arms dealing, ect. more vehicles. maybe continue story after tommy kilss sonny.

if the main character is a rock star, the story could be that you are either a lead guitarist or a singer. you and your friend(who plays another instrument lokk for other members, when they are found you set out to make it to the top you take out rival bands(love fist). you are denied by several recod companies, so you work for tommy vercetti for a while and make enough money to start up your own recod company. you take out the other recod companies and start producing your albums, you steal lyrics from writers, and hire tommy to be your manager, tommy is conneted with mitch baker, witch he gets mitch to be security for the band. or maybe play as love fist.

This may have already been mentioned but oh well... I Would really want to include an infrastructure mode when it comes to multiplayer. No way am i asking for it to replace the already present GTA ad-hoc seen in LCS but it would be to be able to play deathmatch, tanks for the memories (and whatever new modes/games they throw in) over the internet espiecally with the success of MTA and SA:MP also i really enjoy SA:MP so it would be REALLY good to have somthing similar on PSP and in VC.

 

Also regardless of if infrastructure is included in multiplayer mode. In multiplayer you should be able to play across the whole map of VC (if you have unlocked it in storymode) as I felt this was a let down in LCS

In Vice City Stories Id like to see skateboards, cars requiring gas,and instant replays. It would be more realistic if cars required gas because cars dont have unlimited gas and it would bring the gas stations to life. Also, I have done a lot of awesome stunts and crashes in previous gta games that i would have liked to watch again but there is no instant replays.

OTHER MINOR CHANGES ID LIKE TO SEE:

 

- car mods to be more in depth

- more weather variations

- greater reward for 100% completion

- more in depth story line

- new cars and weapons

- quicker loading times

i didnt read every post in this topic, so idk if its been mentioned yet, but as a little extra, i think a speedometer for when ur in a car or on a bike or in a heli or the jetski would be cool. i am always speeding down a high speed flat in an infernus wondering how fast im going.

As for people wondering how they would keep you from moving to the other island, I think like if you swim to the other island a shark should come and eat you and you get wasted xD!

yeh sorry if this has already been mentioned so i dnt need a noob rant if it has but ide like to see more clubs like the malibu and mayby the ability to drink and get drunk like the mission in VC where you have to drive phil to the hospital but your drunk so its all blurry i think thatd rock

 

alos entry into the biker club to play pool and mayby a wifi pool game availble on the multi player

i also want sum more snazzy suits like the vercetti suit

 

but one question if you make loadsa money and stuff and own all these buissness how cum lance never tells tommy this, in vc? does that mean you cant get a mansion? or own biusnneses if youve got sum explanations to this please reply

I suppose VCS would be like LCS where owning businesses is concerned. As in LCS all Toni did was work under people like claude in GTA III, so Victor/Lance (as their brothers i suppose they would share businesses and such) would just work for and under "bigger players" OR Victor and Lance could build up an empire on drugs and dirty businesses but then lose it. If this happens, Lance probably wouldn't mention it to Tommy because he would lose pride and such

I have a good idea that (if their reading this) could use, like when you go too close to the other island sharks would come after you BUT you would have the chance to escape and go back to the first island. So this is how it works, Player goes close to second island then he hears the dun dun dun dun and sees sharks but has the chance to swim away .
