GTA LC problem

I installed GTA LC to a copy of "GTA Vice City" it was clean , but when I load GTA LC up after the intro it says "please insert the GTA Vice City CD" But its already in , the "play" vice city disc , Ive tried both discs and still not workin , any help?

EDIT- Dammit ben, you are 1 step ahead any LC team member.

I only wonder how you downloaded the GTA:LC mod without even knowing there is a GTA:LC forum.

But, I am fealing generous and am going to help you out:

1. At the moment, v5b is the only RELEASE.

2. v6a ect. are only for modders and bug finders.

3. Wait a little bit and v6 will be released.

4. That damn* "Please Insert VC disc" question gets me angry ever time I see it.

5. HERE is the F.A.Q. for the GTA:LC mod.

6. In there you will see that damn* question I louve so much.

7. But, I can tell you how to fix it right now!

The following steps will get your copy of the GTA:LC mod running:

1. Make a short-cut to the gta_lc.exe.

2. Right Click on the shortcut and choose properties...

3. In the TARGET box type -showconfig at the end of the targert.

4. It should look like something this: "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA Liberty City\gta-lc.exe" -showconfig

5. Close the window and double click on the shortcut.

6. A box will come up, choose Advanced...

7. Down in the lower right corner you'll see a tab for "Verify Paths"...

8. CLICK IT!

9. It will say which paths need verified, for exampe: AUDIOLC\HEAD

10. If you get any paths that need to be verified then choose the bottom restore button.

11. repeat steps 6 - 10 until "All paths are verified".

12. If the event that "all paths verified" then you may now click the APPLY button.

13. Now try running the gta_lc.exe and see if that damn* message still appears...
