colbri
so, i've been reading the spawning cars guide and came across a problem I hope you guys can help me with. The tutorial says look for "014B: $2777 = init_parked_car_generator" without the "" In mission builder version .33 which I do but it can't locate that specific line or anything close to it ( I tried looking for 014B: $2777) somebody in the thread encountered the same problem but i'm not posting in there as nobody replied. For the record i'm running version 1.00 of sa for pc and using the original main.scm file.
jarjar
I see what you mean, i was unable to find it aswell. The problem way be the fact his tutorial was made for the version before .33. Basicly you spawn can be placed anyway after: 014B: $2786 = init_parked_car_generator #MONSTERA -1 -1 1 alarm 0 door_lock 0 0 10000 at 2692.028 -1674.024 9.4656 angle 178.8279 and before: 014B: $2773 = init_parked_car_generator #BOXBURG -1 -1 1 alarm 0 door_lock 0 0 10000 at 2596.747 1444.245 10.3203 angle 178.2712 In this area was where he was pointing for you to place it. Anywhere in there is fine, if it ia put anywhere else you will need to call it to spawn, which i'm sure you not really interested in doing. Hope this helps, cheers and happy modding

Demarest
A tip for the future: When you're searching code for instances of a particular opcode, forget text and everything else. Only search for the LAST THREE numbers and the colon. Why? Conditional opcodes are negated by making the first digit an 8. So only the last three can be counted on and they are unique and always have a colon after them.
