If I want to open a new texture to create a in TXD workshop and I import a TGA, it changes the alpha automatically to black what has to be blank. How can I solve it? I have already - alpha imported in white screen made in TGA and BMP and in TXD workshop - entirely new TXD files created of slamvan, blade, supergt only the vehicletires, xvehicleenv128 the alpha still remains black Yesterday I was however very angry; because it won't work even after 3 hours of hard work... xmen Posted April 16, 2006 Share Posted April 16, 2006 heyy you dont need : alpha imported in white screen made in TGA and BMP and in TXD workshop and i am not understand what you want to say....? if you want transparancy in image then "save as" your image in tga (in photoshop) and now in txdworkshop: 1.click on new file, choose the BPP 2.set the alpha in properties, then import your tga Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The reason for this is, that txd workshop when importing TGAs imports the alpha channel from TGA too (if it has none it will be all black), this is also true for PNGs. the separate alpha channel import is only availible with BMPs - that is because it has no alpha channel capability.
