duosx Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 well hi everyone im new but not new to modding vc. anyways i installed vc again after awhile and i wanted to just mod the bike - pcj600 to the ducatti 996 model. well i replace the dff and txd and the text lines that were in the read me to the appropriate files and when i go to load the game it loads almost to the end then crashes to desktop. the ducatti model is from ganjai or something like that and is a reputable file and creator. well thats fine and all that the file might be bad or poorly written but when i replace the files and text lines with default ones from my original folder it STILL CRASHES. i dont get it because thier original files and i rebuilt the archive and did the read only things the only thing i can do is reinstall the whole game evry time a modded file i want doesnt work properly because even the orginal files wont fix the problem. wtf is up ???? i had this ducatti model work before with no problems when i played vc when it first came out long ago.
