Three problems

I have successfuly updated the game to version 1.1 - and it is displayed in menu too. In "bugs fixed list" it said that cars are no longer dirty when you respray them but in my case they still are. I don't know why it doensn't work in my case.

 

And the other problem occured was that when I brought back Carls girlfriend and she asked him for "hot coffe" I said YES to see what will happen. Game stalled and picture was black. Nothing helped but to restart computer.

 

And the third problem I really don't know how to deal with it is monitor refreshing rate. In windows I have it on 85Hz at 1024x768 32bit, in the game I have the same resolution but refreshing rate of monitor drops for some reason and it's really annoying and great to cause some headache and sore eyes.

 

Can someone help me how to deal with these problems and share informations if you had similar problems?

I think you need to have your graphics settings turned up to high quality for this to work (in the game options/display/advanced/ graphics quality, high quality). The cars will also get clean when it rains if you do this.

The 1.01 patch stops the hot coffee mod working, you will need to uninstall the mod and restore your original data files or this screen blanking will happen every time your girlfriend invites you inside (without the mod it just shows a cutscene of the outside of their house at this point). The only other way to stop this is to reinstall the game and not install the 1.01 patch.

This game uses a frame limiter that might be reducing your screen refresh rate, to disable it open the game options/display/advanced and set enable frame limiter to off.
