bullet-x2
This really amazed me, I just killed all of the people you had to kill with the Baron in supply lines, so I only had a bit of fuel left which wasn't enough for me to get back to the roof. So I went up real high and waited to my fuel was almost at zero (When you can hardly see anything on the bar). I then let go of the accelerator button and happily glided back to the rooftop(I glided a long way, all the way from the farthest bad guy to the roof). I was amazed. I figured if you dont press the accelerator, you won't lose fuel. Trust me, try this, it worked for me, it should work for you. BTW I had the PC version. Mainland Marauder
The fuel consumption for the RC Baron was recalculated in the XBox and PC versions to where fuel only depleted when you pushed the accelerator. On PS2 it depletes anytime the Baron is moving. Since many including myself have beaten this mission on PS2, on the other platforms it sounds like a veritable cakewalk This topic has the dish on the only mission in the game to have its own featured walkthrough in the Forums' SA section. GTA_Loco
Also in the Special Edition for PS2, the fuel consumption was recalculated too and the plane's speed upgraded. The aim of the targets on a motorcycle was also recalibrated to miss the plane substantially. In the original PS 2 version, they had a deadly aim at you. B Rob
Yeah, it took me forever to beat Supply Lines for the first time. I may try that strategy now and see If I can glide back to the roof. Those dudes on the bike piss me off.
