Gabriel Constantin
El Castillo Del Diablo As you may have guessed El Castillo Del Diablo is indeed another San Andreas fan fiction. Though this one offers something different to most other fan fictions I've seen, some may not like it, some may love it, but I do not care about either of them. I write for the love of writing and not for the gratious remarks that comes with it. This difference I talk about so fondly in El Castillo Del Diablo's setting. You may have already guessed that the story focuses around the Ghost Town in the Las Venturas desert, and you'd be correct. But the thing that seperates El Castillo Del Diablo from the others is not it's setting in a physical sense but a chronological sense. You see El Castillo Del Diablo is infact a Western Fiction. That's right. Cowboys and Indians (if you really want to call it that). Now you're probaly asking; why am I writing a Western based around a semi-modern gaming franchise? Well the sole answer is; orginality. Here's prologue of sorts. I'm simply posting this now to scope out people's intrest in the story. I will begin work on the first chapter in a couple of days, so stay sharp: Though its ghostly exterior did not show it this settlement was once a prosperous town on the very fringe of the ever expanding American Frontier. That was until it was driven into poverty and depression. El Castillo Del Creencia, as it was known before it received its unholy title was a popular resting point on the San Andreas Trade Route. Traders from all across the country would venture into the town too trade with the locals and lodging before making the last stretch to Las Venturas. The citizens of El Castillo Del Creencia made a living out of trading and providing a place to stay for these dealers. It was there disappearance that would bring and end to the town. In the late 19th century a rail road was constructed that would connect San Andreas with the rest of the United States. This newly constructed passageway across the vast deserts eliminated the need for horseback traders. And due to El Castillo Del Creencia's proximity to the rail line, trade with the passing merchants was near enough impossible. The town soon fell into a state of poverty and depression. Many sought too escape the despair by migrating to nearby Las Venturas where business was good. Most did not have the money for such a feat. A number of those who remained rose against their misfortune and the law to become bandits and highwaymen, seeking money through the only means they knew how, the pain of others. This influx of outlaws and the town's accursed bad luck quickly gave it the title "El Castillo Del Diablo" (The Castle Of The Devil). By the early 1900's the majority of the town's people had left for Las Venturas, scrounging together what little they could to escape this now scum infested hell hole. Those who were left were considered vermin by the local government and thus hunted down like rats. Soon the city was vacant of all life. Becoming as dead as a ghost and hence earning the name of one. Mainland Marauder
Very interesting; just keep running with it, Gabe. Original concept among the SA fanfics. Though I'd like to see the fanfics (even the ones based on SA) get their own section or something like that, I'm starting to say the hell with it and I'm shutting up about it. Good work. Lochie_old
~PhusioN~ votes good! Man, this very different perspective... Nice to see some different storylines besides the "He took my dog, now lets run around San Andreas shooting each other" style, (Hipocritical, considering I did) Like Mainland said, keep running with it. Gabriel Constantin
Thanks for the good comments so soon. Man, this very different perspective... Nice to see some different storylines besides the "He took my dog, now lets run around San Andreas shooting each other" style, (Hipocritical, considering I did) Like Mainland said, keep running with it. That's one thing I was trying to avoid; the stereotypical. Everyone and their dog (sorry, couldn't resist ) has done a San Andreas story revolving around being "gangstuh" in some form or another. I thought it was about time for a change. Anyway, first chapter should be posted up in a few days, depends how much yime I get over the weekend. woozie-moo
wow so far this looks pretty cool,i can't wait for the next chapter. also i think more fanfics should focus less on the 'gangsta' image of the game and more on the rest of it.

Gabriel Constantin
Sorry for the lack of story everyone. I've had a string of real-life problems as of late and have not yet had time to write up the first chapter. I'm going to try and get it done as soon as possible, probaly within the next couple of days, though I can't make any promises.
