I decided to make a gun mod, so I did. Personally, I love it. The sparks are huge, the colors blend well, the sparks also apply to cars, blah, blah, blah, here are some screenshots.

amazing. how'd you do the gunspark thing.

I searched around for a '3f' in the area of the hex that also had the spark color. When I found it, I changed it to 42 and hoped for the best, and luckly, it worked. 80 followed by 3f in the hex are values that change the size of something, the higher the value the larger the object gets, and the lower the value gets, the smaller the object gets. The '80' changes in small incriments, and the '3f' changes in large incraments, like inches and feet. (not literally inches and feet, but you know what I mean, right?)

 

That's how I did it.

 

Also, could a mod change the topic title to "SOG-Gun/Flame/Spark/Smoke/Water/and Car Mods"

I havn't been able to find anything to change the values for 'nades, remote explosives, or RPG explosions, if anyone knows where the valuse for these are, please tell me!

 

It's probably possible for a 'nade to leave fire but I have no clue how to do that.

 

The moltove cocktails are green and blue when they explode though.

mz is a douche I originally found the particles and made the flaming exhaust. angry.gif

where did he post this?

 

 

also all s.o.g. did was use Y4k's script that automatically does this, yet neither me or Y4k get any credit angry.gif

Wow, what's mz's problem?

 

Vettefan88 is right, the only values I found on my own were the spark sizes for the gun and car and the ones that changed the burnout smoke black, and the other burnout smoke (if you do a burnout in grass you'll see it) blue.

 

Even though I found those four values on my own, I still wasn't the first to find them, so I expect to get no credit for it. And I used Y4k's script for everything below the burnout smoke color.

 

Also, that flame exaust is friggin awsome!

 

I can now understand why everyone hates mz.
