problem with vertical bird/riot missions

Hi Guyz,

In the vertical bird mission, all the spy planes behind me crashed themselves as soon as I get a message saying they are behind me. Also all the ships got destroyed the moment I hit one since this is a difficult mission i let it go.

 

But in riot mission, i don't see riot anywhere in los santos from the mansion till CJ's home, the faqs say there r ppl running with tv's etc....but i see a calm and deserted street with only lotz of bgrnd sound/explosions.

 

If anyone has expriencd similar behavior let me know. Also, tell me if anyone knows what's the problem here n how to fix it. Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaseeeeeeee !!!!
