e0ytk Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 Wicked car mate, can't wait for a cop version, also a request if I may; try doing a taxi version I have the classic cabbie replaced with a nice old fashion cab but we all need a decent early 90's taxi cab that looks good, and this car is perfect, we could all re-enact the driving scenes from Die Hard 3 with Willis and JAckson driving like mad through Central Park... It will be a 96 model with that differen rear quarter window and dash. The partition isn't good I'll change it, too. And as a special it will have some cool lookin 9c1 rims. I would like to make one but I got some other projects right now. The Caprice and Impala stuff and then a '62 Chevy Bel Air and Biscayne 409 are my main projects. By side and just for fun I started a '49 Hudson Custom Leadsled. So you see some projects I want to finish first. But I think you would improve your skills if you would try it by yourself. Just get some blueprints on smcars.net! Ford prints work fine. Or you contact multimediaman. He did a Crown Vic and posted some pics on smcars.net. Maybe he can help you. If I would model a 89 Caprice? mmmhhh...I don' know! But bigfoot2003 aka Carface did a great Impala from 1983. I always wanted to use it as a base for some Caprices of the 80s...incl. Coupe versions. but when, I cant say to stevenj: for reference pics I think u register on smcars.net and upload them in a new thread.
