This is my first Fanfic, I made a new topic because it's hard to reference each chapter in the Fanfic Library.

Chapter 1:

1:00AM

A man with a dark grey Trench coat and a black Trilby hat stood by his dark blue Sentinel. He was also wearing dark sunglasses, even though it was dark. He glanced at his watch and pulled a cigarette from a small metal case inside his coat.

“Smoking is a nasty habit,” said a voice that emerged from the shadows in front of him. “You should really cut down” he added.

“I’ve been on them for 30 years, I’m not stopping now,” The man said in a rough voice.

“My mother smoked for 40 years and realised it was killing her, she stopped in a week.” The other man replied”

“You’re mom’s a tough cookie Jake, there are Dons that don’t mess with her.” The man replied.

“What did you want to meet me for Dale?” Jake asked.

“The Triads have been operating the Sherman Dam under the CIA’s nose; they’re shipping out thousands of illegal weapons a day, disguised as a hydro-electric company ‘Aqua-Surge’. San Andreas is losing thousands everyday, you’re job is to stop them”

“What kind of support have I got?”

“Well unfortunately, most of our agents have gone on vacation to Vice City and won’t be back for months, we haven’t got time to waste, and you’re on your own Jake”

“Have I got any weapons or aircraft?” Jake asked hopefully.

“We HAVE got a contact in Verdant Bluffs, there’s a plane waiting for you at San Fierro airport but because the airport has gone on strike, you’ll have to fly it yourself.”

“Luckily, I passed my Flying Test last week.”

“What are we waiting for, get in” Dale and Jake both got in the car and set out of the parking lot next to the Big Pointy Building. There was barely anybody on the roads, apart from the occasional cab picking up students from the bars.

Nick Dale has been working in the CIA for 20 years now, and there were some things that he hadn’t even seen. There had been plenty of illegal trading over his years, but the places used changed every time. This meant that the job never got boring, so he enjoyed hearing about the crazy places people are using. The Sherman Dam had recently been abandoned because the company had gone out of business, so the CIA thought nothing of it when a new company moved in.

The Sentinel drove towards the gates that simultaneously opened for them after Jake showed the one remaining airport employee his flying licence. The Sentinel drove up the ramp and carried on towards a Shamal aircraft that was parked near the runway. Both men got out and Dale wished Jake good luck. Jake then walked over to the plane and started up the controls.

I actually really liked it , it's a good start in my opinion , mainly because it's a bit "vague" (not sure if it's spelled right). It can become really good if you give some more info about the characters in later chapters but not too much , you know , just a litlle once and a while.

Anyway ,nice start , lookin' forward to chapter two

I decided that there were too many gangster style fan fictions, so i went for a more agent/mafia kind of feel

Chapter 2

Jake Bullock had been in the mafia, but after it disbanded because of a huge plane ‘accident’ with every family in it, he left and was now a freelancer for the CIA. He wasn’t officially an agent; he couldn’t be because of his mafia history. Instead, he ran errands for the CIA for a little cash in hand. He’d been doing this for a good 3 years now and because Jake’s family were on the plane during the ‘accident’, Dale was like a father to Jake. He was only 24, and already he had seen enough to put any normal San Andreas kid off life.

If Dale knew the truth about the plane accident and who had caused it, he wouldn’t have let Jake go on this mission. Jake has never got revenge for his family’s death, partly because he wasn’t completely sure who’d done it. But he had an idea, and that was enough for this mission.

Jake had enough money from his freelance work to not only pay the bills, but to take flying lessons. From when he was very young, Jake had always wanted to fly, it was the one thing that he had never experienced. This was because he afraid of flying and as a consequence didn’t get on the death plane that killed his family. So you may be wondering why he learnt (and passed with distinction) how to fly.

After 4 years of living in fear of planes, he decided that it was getting him nowhere, and he’d heard a commercial on the radio about facing your fears, so he got in touch with Darius Fontaine, the guy running it and he told Jake to learn how to fly. Thanks to Fontaine, Jake found a new hobby and is a lot more useful to the CIA.

3:00AM

Jake was flying at 12,000 feet, not too high, but enough to not crash into any protruding cliffs. He looked down at the desert beneath him. It was so dark and he had to switch on his extra lights so he could see clearly. He glanced at his radar and saw three yellow blips close to each other. He then saw a red arrow, it was coming closer. Jake looked out his back window to see a huge heat seeking missile firing through the air towards him.

He flew the Shamal between two rock pillars and took the corner tightly around the left hand one. The missile went straight into the pillar, collapsing it into a heap and destroying a snake farm that was beneath it. Jake wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked again at his radar. The yellow blips were moving very quickly up and down and long strip of beige concrete. He took the plane down and landed neatly next to a huge aircraft carrier and parked the Shamal inside it.

Jake saw a Faggio leaning against the hanger and took it. The key was left in so, to save his legs, he drove it across the airstrip towards the AC Tower. He dismounted the Faggio and leant it up against the small house with the tower sticking out the top. Jake walked towards the dusty ground towards the door of the house and knocked three times. He heard noises from inside.

“Just a minute,” the voice said. “Just putting on my jacket” he added.

The door swung open and an army looking man walked out.

“The name’s Phil, folks ‘round here called me crazy, but that’s only because I keep myself to myself.” Phil looked at his watch. “You’re early, I like that.”

“I’ve got no reason to be late sir” Jake replied.

“Of course you haven’t! Lets crack on shall we, follow me, I’ll show you your ‘instruments’.” Phil walked over to a box near to his house and took the top off “This is the new range of C4, it’s been nicknamed “Satchel Charge” and they go off either by remote control, or a big enough spark, good sh*t”

“How am I getting there?” Jake asked, eyeing up the Hydra Jump Jet that was parked inside a small hanger to the left of him.

“I see you’ve noticed the Hydra? You can use it, providing you bring it back in one piece.” Phil picked up the crate of Satchel Charges and walked over to the Hydra. He opened up a small compartment and placed the crate into it.

“Right, that should be everything. All you need to do is fly towards the Dam, park the Hydra somewhere conspicuous, and enter the Dam through a door at the top of it. Plant the C4, get back to the Hydra and empty some missiles into the side of the Dam. This will set off the C4 and end the Triad’s dealings. Good Luck son”

“Thanks Phil, I’ll won’t mess it up” Jake replied

“You better not, you’ve only got one chance before the Triads get wise about us, God speed.”

Phil walked back over to his house, opened the door and watched the Hydra set off from his window.

hey Ottae...this seems to be shaping up pretty well...and i love the way you refer to some of the missions in the game cookie.gifcookie.gif ...i don't understand the timeline, though...it has been 3 years since the 'accident', but Jake has been learning to fly for 4...or was it that he'd been working for the CIA for 3 years, and the 'accident' took place even before that? (yikes, how old was he when he got into the business?)

also, for the world of me, i can't understand why Phil(another classic reference, btw) would ask Jake to park the Hydra somewhere conspicuous...did you mean inconspicuous?

anyways, keep up the great work, and cheers...

Very nice, but I'd add a tad of emotion and more speech. They seem lifeless.

And also, dams are owned by the government. It couldn't have gone out of business.

Keep going.

Here in England, some Dams and Resevoirs are owned by Water Coporations. I dunno if that applies in the US though.

In the U.S. almost all damns or water resevoirs are city or state owned. You could build your own, but i'm sure there is lots of crappy code to go through.

Once again, your story rocked Ott's. icon14.gif

Chapter 3:

3:30

Jake was feeling nervous now; he wasn’t far from the Dam and was scanning the area for a decent place to hide the Hydra. He spotted a flat piece of ground which had a rocky overhang. Jake slowed the Hydra down and turned the thrusters so they pointed downwards. He was shaking now, it was cold and he was nervous. This was a big mission and he couldn’t mess it up.

He opened the compartment containing the explosives and he also found a camouflage cloak and covered the Hydra in it. He then picked up the crate and then crept towards the Dam. As he got closer, he started to sweat, not because he was hot, but because the Triads were the ones responsible for the death of his family.

He reached the Dam, there were no cars apart from a few parked in a near by car park. At the bottom of the crate of explosives, Jake found a pair of Night-Vision Goggles. He put them on and turned the switch on the side. In an instant, he could see everything and he moved much faster towards the door at the top of the Dam. When he reached the door, it was locked.

“sh*t, the first set back” he thought. Being in the collaboration with the CIA for so long, he’d learnt a few skills, one of them was kicking a door down. He stepped back from the door and then ran at it with his foot parallel to his midriff. With a hefty kick, the door swung open and Jake heard the sound of 4 generators turning the water current into electricity.

Jake walked down the metal steps and cautiously walked across the catwalk. He looked all around to see if the area was clear. His heart missed a beat; he reached for his pocket and pulled out a gun, pointed it and shot the guard that was about to Tw*t him with a metal bar.

He dragged the body across the metal grid and pushed it over the edge, into the watery depths below. Jake put his hand to his heart; it was racing like rabbit at track-race. He put his gun back in the holster and moved to the nearest generator, pulled out some C4 and taped it to the metal container. He then proceeded to the next one and did likewise. He C4ed each Generator and ran to the door and back to the Hydra.

After a he booted up the controls, he got to a suitable altitude and set the thrusters to horizontal. He flew the Hydra around the pillar that was not destroyed before, and activated the missiles; he flipped the cap on the missile firing control and waited till he was close enough to the Dam. This was the moment, the moment he’d been waiting for for years; it was finally time to end the Triad’s business in San Andreas, sending them back to Liberty City for good.

He was in range; his hard was beating faster than before. This was it; he was going to fire the missile at the last moment so he doesn’t miss. He travelled through the air towards the Dam. 1000ft, 500ft, 250ft, 175ft, 100ft, 50ft, he pushed the button. Nothing happened, and now he was only 25ft away. sh*t.

Also to let you know, the Triads of San Fierro are different to the one's in Liberty City. It's the same as the Mafia. So let's say the San Fierro Triads are the Leone Family and the Liberty City Triads are the Sindaccos. See what I mean?
