It's a dealer spot but I thought it was special. A beautiful white XKR-S Convertible. Also, I love my new camera and these pictures are clear but like a major dumbass I left my settings in 640 so the pictures are small.

I saw a silver '13 BMW m135i 4-door hatchback yesterday. I thought that car was only sold in Europe?

 

Edit: I finally saw an F12Berlinetta. It zipped right pass me at a Krispy Kreme's. I was so surprised and there's only 3-4 of those in town.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you live in San Antonio right? Some of the best car spotting I have ever done was in Texas and the vehicles you see there rival what I have seen in LA before. So that's some pretty sweet spotting grounds. The nicest car I have seen in my neighborhood is a mid 2000s Gallardo and that was once and a long time ago. Every now and then you see the odd 911 but not too often. It's all about luxury sedans here like Merc S Classes and 7 Series BMWs. And those get pretty boring after a while.

Yes, I do live in San Antonio. The car spotting down here is pretty decent especially around La Cantera, Alamo Heights, Alamo Ranch, Stone Oak, and the air force/army bases for some reason. It may have a lot of nice cars compared to a few other US cities but to me it is nothing compared to Houston or some of the cities I visited back in North Carolina.

 

Now that I've got my new camera, I'll definitely be taking some time out to capture most of the crazy things I spot around town. This month was pretty crazy with me seeing an Aventador, an M6 Gran Coupe, and an F12Berlinetta. I hope next month is just as good!

On Friday, we went to get our car serviced after 1,000 miles. I stumbled across this Ferrari, pretty awesome to see, and that sound though of the engine. I don't know what kind of Ferrari it is. Maybe you car lovers can help me out?

A original Mini Cooper in the Stockwell Street car park in Glasgow City Centre (1st May 2014):

 

An Aston Martin Vantage on Eglinton Street from the top of a double decker bus in Eglinton Toll (2nd May 2014):

Don't know the exact model, sorry.

 

A Ford Crown Victoria outside the TriBeCa cafe/bar on Dumbarton Rd in Partick (3rd May 2014):

Not many of these in the UK, I'd imagine.

 

A Triumph TR7 near the Westbridgend tower blocks in the town of Dumbarton (6th May 2014):

 

This one really surprised me. Came walking around the corner & near enough stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of it.

I just found out that San Antonio has 6 Ferrari F12Berlinetta's now according to Ferrarichat. A detailing dude stated that somebody in the Dominion was trading his 458 and California in for an F12. This is good news for me, maybe he'll show up to the Cars and Coffee this Saturday or maybe I'll be able to spot him soon.

I've been meaning to get a photo of this for quite some time, as it's always parked up the road from my gran's house. It also has to be one of the rarest cars I've ever come across:



It's a Citroen BX16 TGS Auto. As of 2013, there were only 6 of these licensed in the UK, according to How Many Left.co.uk.

Also, this Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe was parked just around the corner outside a dentist's office:

I think the exhausts are one of the ways of determining between GTB, GTBi and QV. I might be wrong, but the fuel injected GTBi and QV ran symmetrical quad exhausts whereas the carbed GTB ran single or dual exits on the left.

I am not sure either but you might be right though.

Anyways our office shares the same building with a Guardia Civil police station, and i know most of the officers there beacuse there is also a cafeteria in the building and sometimes they come for a cup of coffee, They told me that the Ferrari was stolen from a delearship in Madrid and was meant to be illegally exported to Romania.
