Yesterday I spotted...

- A red Ferrari Testarossa.

- A black Tesla Model S.

- A grey Jaguar XE on which I drawn a penis with my finger 'cause it was dirty.

- This amazing Mitsubishi Evo VII as I was entering a pub:

chHJP0j.jpg

Cars I recently spotted...

- An orange Toyota Supra that looked a lot like this one: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/00/43/0a/00430a5c1b4ece0b979a82586a0f423d.jpg

- A heavily modded blue Subaru Impreza with gold rims.

- A blue Subaru BRZ.

- A black convertible Mazda MX-5.

- A yellow Lotus Elise.

And I think that's it.

Spotted this 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190 for sale whilst on my way to a junkyard:

Asking $5K which seems a little high to me, unless it runs and drives (which actually seems pretty likely, considering the modern registration). I don't know how rare these things are, though, so that could be a fantastic price for all I know.

£8k for a tatty but structurally sound running Ponton here in the UK. Minty-fresh restored ones seem to go for up to £15-20k.

Shame it's not an 190 SL, they're about 10x that.

It's been badly painted matte black. Cosmetically it's very tatty. Not that I was talking about that one anyway.

Pretty sure it's the original, badly faded paint. It didn't look like matte in person, way too much of a satin finish and very reminiscent of other cars I've seen from the same era with their original paint. Might be a case where it's not original, but it was poorly repainted decades ago.

iPhone 7 Plus' camera is pretty nice, might have to get one (for photography). I'll stick to my Note 5 for daily tasks

This story is too long so let me just cut it short:

- I'm at Neiman Marcus. I see a Ghost, CGT V8, Blu Scuro 488 Spider and a blue Dawn.

- I ask the valet if I can take pics and he is glad to say yes and another lady (shopper) was interested in lookingbat these cars too!

- I get pics of Dawn which is in the parking lot.

- Hostile security guard tells me no, says photography isn't allowed when there are no rules on photography in the code of conduct. Then proceeds to take a pic of me and tries to call me in to the security and acts like he wants to detain me

- I have the pics I want but have to skip the white S63 AMG Coupe and walk off. I call security office who tells me the same bullsh*t lie that I can't take photos but they say the guard was out of line

- My mother who knows an attorney and a police officer gets notice of this calls them, they get scared.

- Then we get in touch with SAPD and Bexar County sheriff

- After laughs and acknowledgment of me doing nothing wrong and they say that the guards have no authority at all. I can walk away, call the cops myself or let them call the cops so they can tell the mall they can't do cr*p.

The conclusion is, know your rights. If you are not breaking the law or the code of conduct they can't do anything. Period. Ignore those harassing security guards.

No, it is not.

Acura are mostly of a shoddy quality compared to European Market Honda. Also tacky interior colours are common too. Obviously also in US-market Honda.

I have to think of my mates Honda Pilot:

Looks awesome in black with its chrome rims and everything. But do not open the doors to see the chocolate brown interior and leather seats....

Juck !

Oh, and due to the speed restrictions in the states the Acuras are -not- Autobahn-proof.

I remember the Acura NSXs brought over to Germany in the early 1990s, when the Dollar was cheap. And the engines of those cars packing-up as they were fitted without oil-coolers and much smaller radiators as on the regular European-market Honda NSXs.

People drove the Acura NSXs here as one should and they did not cope, lol.

The 1999, 4-door Acura Integra I drove the other week has a minute radiator also. It was the 1,8 litre, 140 hp version and the radiator has the size of a European market, 75 hp ciVic, from 1997.

Bruh, it's literally just a rebadge for most cars.

Spotted this gorgeous Plymouth Duster last night. I thought it was a Nova until I saw "Plymouth" on the front; I'm glad I didn't run into the owner before that, because he's probably tired of people telling him, "hey, nice Nova."
