I think down would work much better than up for the hover thing as it wouldnt activate the side missions and its closer!

Anybody found the location of the grenade smoke? I have been messing around with changing the color. I can get the cheat to activate, but when you put in the cheat to load weapons set 1, the game crash's. I love driving the RC's. It reminds of the go-cart from S.A.

the grenade smoke is in the game as the same color as the tear gas from vice city, but there different colors, I'll try make a smoke bomb color changer when I get home.

I added a subtle amount of tilt when turning. Updated the beta. Is that an improvement?

 

 

Edison, could you maybe add the drivable rc cars to CD, that way if someone new spawns one it won't crash when they enter it.

it can just be something that is enered only once at he start of cheat device. since it'll last once it's de-activated, and through loading new saves it doesn't need to be something always running in the background.  smile.gif

Already done. I figured there would be no way you would ever not want that. Check the beta.

I think I may be able to get bike spawns to work, I just need to know what is changed to determine what vehicle is spawned with each cheat.

 

I think the problem is that the cheats is set to spawn a car, I think I may be able to set it to spawn as a bike.

In version 1.0 I think we should make some of the cheats ON by default. Stuff that most everyone is always going to want anyway. You can always turn them off. Here's the list I'm thinking of:

 

Infinite Health and Armor

Wanted Level: 0 stars

Time locked

Weather: Sunny

Never fall off your bike

No reloading

 

Beta testers: I just updated the beta with this change, as well as gangs don't attack you.

I turn those on all the time i play gtalcs so ya, it would be great to pre-set those into the next version of your cheat device

nice double post sneaky2.gif is it easy to set which ones are default on- because then we may be able to do it? and then people can customise what ones we want on.

Contruction mode isn't what the CD is mostly about.

I ALWAYS turn on power jump and the ones that Edison listed. (Also others like never fall off of your bike)

 

Can't wait for the next release, looking good.

hey edison, now all we need is neon's on the hover cars and it will be blinging...

For neons, can't someone find out the colour of the shadow the car makes? I'd imagine it's some kind of semi-transparent block of colour, and not an actual shadow generated relative to light shining on objects in the game, and if that's the case, it can be changed.

What about combining both codes? I usually switch them both on.

 

 

In version 1.0 I think we should make some of the cheats ON by default. Stuff that most everyone is always going to want anyway. You can always turn them off. Here's the list I'm thinking of:

Personally I enjoy police chases, but I guess some people might just want to drive around with no consequences.

And (I can't be bothered overusing the quotes any more) I use power jump all the time too. Normal jumps just don't seem worth pressing the square button for.

 

As usual, everything looks cool. I haven't got my PSP nearby, but, I was thinking you could get rid of the least used cheats, maybe based on what people say? Or maybe you could get rid of certain cheats on the CheatDevice if they can be replaced with user-inputted codes? I dunno, I'm just trying to think of the best way to free up space for you to further develop the device...

They probably got their story from GTAPortable.com... I posted on their forums and mentioned a few things and the next thing I know Adriaan puts it up as a news story on the front page...

 

I gave GTAPortable's rival site GTAPSP.com the full story...

 

I hope this is all OK edison, you did say we could post about it but this one post got kind-a out of hand...

Mission Select has not been solved yet. It's not a planned feature for 1.0.

 

I wish they picked a better picture, like the DeLorean hovering a meter off the ground so you can see it's not just sideways tires, like this:

This is what im thinking.

 

make:

 

mission selector

health editor (lets say 1%, 2% and so on)

armor editor ("")

timed mission time freezer (ooohhhh!!!! Pretty!!!)

(':bbq:')

you can be a cop

make cars have propellers

tony can fly by pressing d-pad up (try not to make everything else fly.)

make border for screen

auto sleep mode (so time doesn't go by while your psp takes a nap (':zZz:'))

two button teleport (left r and maybe left or right to select location)

make cheatdevice show up on START

make time freeze when cheatdevice menu is up

 

delete:

 

ped editor (unless you add cop)

gravity (if u make tony can fly)

 

 

 

everything edison said should be auto on except freeze time.

 

auto on:

 

cars have propellers

tony can fly

auto sleep

timed mission time editor

Possible, but would the shadows' differen't sizes and shapes have anything to do with it or is whatever the shadow is made just of all the same thing?
