Mista_G
@jos116: looks like an 80's Buick Skylark, my neighbour a few doors down used to own one in BROWN lol, could use a bit if work but over all its good anyways i have 2 updates, I made an AMP which isn't complete and a tv which isn't complete either, all the car audio and also the in home electronics I model will be placed into a concept van I have as a show car for all the car audio I make. You can browse this topic to find pics of the van cause I have a couple but am to lazy to be bothered to post pics of it. Anyways here they are! The Amp: Unlimited "EQUAKE" series, kinda like a spoof to sonys EXPLOD the only thing left on this to add is a little more finer details to make it stand out a bit more then it does. The TV: Its a knock off SAMSUNG 32" lcd tv. Whats left of this to add is a connector section for all the plugs at the back of the tv and thats pretty much it, I didn't make a tv stand as this is gunna be placed in the van as it is I will have it so it looks like it folds down from the celiling! Keep in mind alot of the car audio I make will be mid to high poly as I want to be able to use them in renders but also keep them at a polycount that they can also be used ingame the best of both worlds, ENJOY! simplyunkillable
That is disgusting. Sorry, but I never liked the old car. I especially don't like it when you take away the rear doors and give it a ricer body kit. Sorry. correct. nice plane seanorris.

Starion
The second citoren ds looks like a 1966 one to me : proof I think the dual headlamp versions were much more popular though. mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno.

ParoXum
My first car ingame, my reflections map is basic, and i don't succed into using the same style reflection as SA standards... Nothing show up ingame for the reflect. So i'm using a crappy one. Be easy that's the first car i've got ingame.
Picolini
I actually like that reflection setting, it doesn't looks crappy to me. The rims could use a better one. The car's proportions looks odd imo, but it looks like you intended it to have that style. Not bad at all for a first time car ingame, but if I remember right you did a few race tracks right? What's the chances of a getting a Nurburgring in SA
ParoXum
It mostly depends of my freetime, and of the bluprints of the race. The more detailled is the blueprint, better it'll be ingame. If you got pics of the race + surroundings buildings and acces roads it can be fun to model. /offtopic ^^ Thx.
Mark
Surrounding buildings? Pretty much all forest lol. @Pico: Go on, cookie it is I might make an F-15S/MTD out of it when I'm done too. aka the F-15 ACTIVE. ParoXum
Who said Vertex Colors don't work on Cars ?
Picolini
Looks trippy Pinky used vertex lighting on the exhaust for his Mig-15, and it looks really cool. It also works good on things like tires. In Zmod2 just color fill it with black like 3 times and it'll brighten it up, a great alternative to spec, it keeps down the glare. Mark
Got any pics Picolini? Of the spec alternative that is, not the afterburners EDIT: Getting there on the body, needs a lil smoothing and a few add-ons, then the basic shapes there. Then cause I'm bored, time to texture Oh except I got bored and started on the tailpipes Edited December 12, 2006 by GTAuron
Burner
Can Anyone guess what this car is? I'll give one hint, it's a 1969 model. Other than the Foose wheels, it is all stock. Model is 5815 polys, wheels are 1814 each.
Picolini
@GTAuron, I only tried it on a bomb model for Yangsters bomb mod (it's a new bomb, and I don't have pics of it). I also added spec and a ref on it to make it look metal, but since ref's can't be adjusted like they can on cars I had to use the light trick on it. I don't have any pics of the trick, but it does work good. Pinky showed off an MGS mod, not sure if he showed it here, and it used the prelighting trick. @Burner, everything looks like a Chevelle on it except for the front grill... I'm pretty sure it's not a Chevelle though.

Mark
@Picolini: Ah right, I'll have to try it for meself I'm gonna do a fair bit of vertex colouring on this Eagle anyways. @Dave: Got it in one
Mista_G
Burner! this ones for you I spent a bit of time setting this up to make it look perfect in my eyes. For everyone else, this is BURNERS VW GOLF3 he showed in his 10000000000 billion poly car thread, and I liked it I also wanted to render it and hes never had any of his cars rendered so I opted to do it I added new BORBET TYPE A style wheels, they aren't perfect but look very indentical, I also change the body colour from purple to my favourite car colour when it comes to modeling which is orangey yellow, I also made the hood black, I also changed the rear and front light textures more TUNER and thats about it! Burner I hope you like
