_RicH_
i wonder if anyone will know what this is looks a bit like a chevy monza sports hatch to me.. tchuck, the Tipo "33-2" isnt looking too bad.. ithas potrntial to be something great, but you need to change the headlights too.. the rear treatment you ought to use should be somewhat inspired by the style of the alfa diva concept.. that one is another car that was sorta similar to the original Tipo 33 Stradale.. actually, you ought to take another look at the side too.. or else it's going to end up just looking like an enzo with a different front and rear.. the Diva, 8C, and original Tipo 33 will give you a lot of help as far as what direction to do in with the design..maybe i'll give one a try too.. i hate it when people inspire me.. oh bollocks. its the gta1 poster car i thought it was somethin made up.. looks like it was 1977 monza... ah well i already gave it a made-up back end, so ill still release it for myriad. [DRuG]NikT
ahhhh nice one Rich - I'm amazed nobody got it... some pretty oldskool peepz here... me? I'm just old. Great idea for a car though... great to see another novel approach at keeping it "in theme".
GTA3Freak-2001
Dammit I saw the car and it looked very familar but I couldn't work out where, I've funnily enough got that poster on my wall so it was kinda staring me in the face from the start. Starion
i wonder if anyone will know what this is Will you ever release that for gta? It would look wicked in game. mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno.
Picolini
@Rich, cool idea. I wasn't into GTA back then, I barely ever played the top down view old school ones, but it's cool to have some original GTA stuff brought to life. It'd be cool to have that ingame, imo. I was gonna guess 300zx (the older ones) until you said it wasn't a real car.
simplyunkillable
It should be printscreened from the top, and made into a gta1 car. I would love to see that in the showroom.

iRloading
@burner: wheels look great @tchuck: alfa looks bad-ass been a while since I made a render, so did some experimenting with lights and all that fudge and *toink* crappy wire/solid render~ hehe time to try another skin/paintjob~ harhar... *check that* time to try another car has anyone done a cougar yet? Burner
Yup, That's a 78 Chevy truck. Irloading: Cougar? As in Mercury Cougar? Nice render btw. I love the quad wireframes so much better than tris. It looks so much cleaner and easier to see the work. Here is another forgotten about car. It's about 3 years old, and shares a modified version of the Audi's drag chassis. The file was corrupted in zmod 1, but Zmod2 was able to open it and fix the errors. And here is the first car I ever made. It's been sitting in Carcad format since 1999. I was finally able to get it into zmod after deleting the NFS light dummies. It sucks, but I'm proud of it. Heh. Picolini
@Burner, that drag SS looks cool as hell, I love them with those big ass tires in the back. I don't see a wheelie bar, so I bet that thing would be poppin'em all day long The chassis looks really good, realistic in design and everything. Do you work with cars or something? And your first model of the Escort wagon, although being an odd choice, is pretty damn good for a first model. But an Escort wagon?? lol Just kidding. RoxRox
Don't make me start copying your style, Burner... I'm 'bout to put photo textures on some of my cars
Burner
Don't poke fun at photo tex "But an Escort wagon??" Lol. I made it because my mother owns one. "The chassis looks really good, realistic in design and everything. Do you work with cars or something" Yup. More than I would like, heh. When you drive 35-40 year old cars, and have a boss who drag races and can't repair motors, something always has to be done... irloading: I've seen one for NFS like 6 years ago, but other than that, I haven't seen any, and I browse alot of carmaking forums. Make a 70 Eliminater version I've always liked those, prolly the only mercury I like.
Picolini
Ah, so thats where your attention to detail comes from Burner. Well, keep it up! So far pretty much every car of yours I've seen is excellent. I just wish we could get some ingame
Burner
Thanks. Funny you mention how realistic it is, because there is tones of stuff unrealistic and put of place on that dragster chassis. TONS. Oh well. It's 3 years old, the fact it can still compare to cars nowadays is good nuff for me. " just wish we could get some ingame " These are models in Midtown Madness 1. I no longer have the zmod files for, but have these ingame models. Unfortunately, you cant exztract a model back out of MM1 format. They suck anyways. lol. These are from 2000, both were released. jos116
Thanks for that link Picolini, i started one of my own. I called it "Laber" , wich is a name that my good friend, who quited the modding scene, chosed. After WAY to many hours of work (worked 1 week, from 6-11 PM. Wich means i worked more than 49 hours, with the weekend), there are still 'lil bugs. Small texture thingy's and so. Orgiginal model: Ingame: I made the interiour out of my own, also cuttet everything out. Guess that was it. Regards, Me
Mark
I recommend turning the glass over your headlight to black transparent instead of white transparent (white sucks!) and try just smoothing out the side a lil more. There are some triangles along the side that clearly show summins not exactly smooth there. But pretty good I say.

Duders
That is disgusting. Sorry, but I never liked the old car. I especially don't like it when you take away the rear doors and give it a ricer body kit. Sorry.
Stefaan
4,800 polys later. [iM]http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a308/IL-2SeaNorris/Fw190A3.jpg[/img] [iM]http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a308/IL-2SeaNorris/190a3.jpg[/img] The shape is pretty good. But try to make a clean polly weave and tryto stick to one direction. You get better normals that way and less dodgey reflections. Keep at it. Follower of the cheese.
