@picolini: I'll try that for the SA reflection mod, but their smooth enough in game, and I'm using zmod2.

 

@Cran.: Nice, about how much longer do I have to wait for it to be released?

edit: Although oldz3ds are rotated on the Y axis when imported to zmod2, they are re-rotated when exported to oldz3d, so you can export for GTA3 and vc. Which also helps because zmod2's gta3 exporter sucks. I figured that out. biggrin.gif

I have kind of went off my aluminium streak, went for something a little more Star Wars instead.

Going to take a while, I am intending to include a working interior as well.

It will replace the Andromada, giving it a working ramp which should add to the fun.

You're joking right.

If not look for the SAS gear at GTAGarage, you will find the author is someone called pinky.

I made guns way before I made planes.

If it's still the old holo sight model I can PM you with the updated one fitted with the SUSAT.

You will find the carbine, infantry and the LSW version. wink.gif

Here's an update on that personal VTOL copter I'm making.

About 10,000 polys as is, maybe 1,000 more will be added on. I'm not liking some design aspects of it, so don't expect it to look just like this when done. Modeling is about 80-90% done. I started a little texturing but I don't have screenies of that.

I know about the rough rear side window and the weird reflections above the rear wheel cover thingy, gonna fix them later. Can you spot any other problems?

Still needs dash, seats, center console and textures. Only the engine and wheels are done, the rest is set to temporary colors.

 

I tried to keep this one lower poly than my normal models. It sits at a little more than 7000 polys right now, and the wheels weigh in at 1075 apeice.

 

Heres something else I made a while back out of boredom.

On again / off again ass...er, escalade. Coming soon to a.....Battlefield 2......near me (textured appropriately - i know warzones don't sport luxury SUVs tounge.gif).

 

a gta version would be nice, but i'm not sure i want to see it get "blinged". On the off chance i do a gta version, and release it, i *will* hunt down and torture any person who puts wheels larger than 17 inches on it, or any form of "dubz".

 

@ Burner - nice model. i'd put another row of Tris in the rear pillar and continue that edge all the way around the cabin, and maybe another row in the front of the door (vertically), but thats just me.

and i'm not tesselating the mesh any further, slut. the poly counts in BF are limiting enough, and im over the recommended limits as it is - with no interior yet!

So kiss my hairy ass.

@dexx, if you do a gta version, you could release it with a 1 foot lift, a rollcage, towbar, and removed bumpers (bullbars) to ward off the "gangstas". a car in Battlefield 2 would need that anyway. tounge.gif

The front looks a bit weird, but is that just how the 66 is? Apart from that, a very nice clean model smile.gif

 

@Sylvania Looking good mate, like to see that completed.

@DeXX Front looks a bit.. flat/tall, but it might just be the perspective. Can't have a luxury SUV in BF2, it has to be PIMPED!

@Burner Hah, kickass. I tried the challenger ages ago, and it didn't even look at nice as yours. Like to see the interior on that once you do it.

He's done most of the work, and i'm going to try and troubleshoot the rest of the problems and hopefully then I can get my own stuff ingame. I dont like asking people to put my sh*t ingame wink.gif. As you can see, chrome needs to be fixed, need to fix the refmap problems and finally re-model the boot insides since it sticks out the top mad.gif Didn't do that in zmod1..!

Thanks! According my refpics that how it looks, I've looked Mustang GT pics. It is slightly different than normal ones (what I've noticed). It also misses the "gills" next of headlights smile.gif
