personally, i think there have been a lot of improvements, but i hope the underside/engine bay isn't changed too much.

Now that kicks ass. I love the low polyness while still keeping all the details. Very nice.

 

I prefer the dogdishes over the rallys though. Not alot of people when they make a muscle car make the dog dish wheels with it. I know I haven't..

 

I'd love to make a hotrod of it wink.gif

Thx! I'm gonna do different versions of my Duster with different rims. One with the body colored rims, 340 and Twister with the rallyones smile.gif Gotta think about that Hotrod tounge.gif

Thx also! Usually when I start to create a car I model very simple model first. Then I start to add polies with the cut tool or in edge mode with connect tool. smile.gif

@ryder, If I were you I would delete at least half of those polygons in the upper door, there simply not nessesary and will make the task of tweaking the verticies a nightmare. you can easily get the shape with way less polygons and it will be easy to tweak.

i remember dal modeling somethign similar to that a few years back...

Aye tis a 2001 Mobil 1 JGTC NSX smile.gif

 

Modelling the front end atm, all the canards etc on it. Will look a bit more recognisable in a while. Windscreen appears round cause it's not back all the way yet, Ii've stopped it at the bit where there's a bit of a bump in the bonnet to hide the wipers from the airflow etc.

LOL @Burner indeed it is. I've always wanted to make a JGTC model but really I felt it needed the detail they deserve on all the fancy bits, thus yeah, I'm in the mood for modelling a lil more high poly now. This is probs gonna be a fair bit higher than most of my recent mods, all my stuff recently has been aimed at MI and has hovered around the 5k limit, this'll exceed it no probs lol.

I know this doesn't fit with San Andreas at all, but I was playing around a bit with it and just tried to see what it'd look like ingame. Original for Midtown Madness 2 by AVW1. I am in contact with the author at the current moment.

The wheels aren't too good at the moment and I fixed the problem around the front of the top deck. Still need to sort out a decent collision file for it also.

uhhh.... dude? i didn't. the only thng off the SA sentinel is the textures. this is more than a retexure for the VC, it's actually over 5 times the poly count.

i'm talking about the chassis hi, btw the details.

 

@cran: hte reason why i didn't use the SA sentinel is because they are compleately different cars. the SA one borrows some styling cues from the vice one, but that's it.
