You never know if CJ is fully (whatever his nationality is) as some of you pointed out the differences between CJ and sweet. Why not also check the 20 minute bonus dvd of san andreas to see what is on there. Maybe some clues?

To be totally honest, my "rant" and followup were meant to humorous, with an edge. It's interesting that the reaction I got was on the line of "The other guy was joking, don't you get it?" No big deal, not everyone understands levels of humor; alternatively, maybe it wasn't funny in the first place.

 

As far as trying to impress, you give yourself too much credit. You are not someone I'm interested in impressing. You can't hire me, you don't pay me, and you don't screw me. You're just a nameless blogger in cyberspace. Trust me, impressing you is not on my list of priorities.

 

Oh, and fyi, I learned my "slang" growing up on the West Side of Chicago, not when I started playing SA. I agree that a lot of KIDS do learn slang from their games, but I'm not one of them.

Tenpenny could be his father, which would make GTA San Andreas a kind of Oedipus Rex story. But looking at the age of CJ, who's around his mid twenties and Tenpenny, who's around his early 40's that would mean Tenpenny would have to be in his twenties to have fathered CJ with Beverly and that doesn't seem too likely.

 

CJ also had a younger brother, Brian, who was killed and seeing that CJ was away in Liberty City for five years, we can assume that by the time he comes back to San Andreas he is 25-30 which would mean that his younger brother Brian must have been 15-19 at the time of his death. I don't know where I'm going with this.
