Bug List With Solutions (I know there's not a solution listed for this exact problem, but it's well worth a read anyway. Most solutions will work for most problems). My advice: Uninstall. Delete 'My Documents\GTA Vice City User Files\gta_vc.set'. Update video drivers. Re-install. Until we get more information, that's just about the best advice you'll get. RunDMC 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Author Share Posted March 8, 2006 ok i un-installed and reinstalled the game, before i re-installed i deleted the "gta_vc.set" file under 'My Documents\GTA Vice City User Files\gta_vc.set'. i checked to see if i had the latest video drivers and i do. i have a nvidia GeForce 7800 GT. and the money icon in front of the mansion still isnt visible. what gives? id be happy to offer more info about my system or whatever if needed. thanks in advance. That's what the link to the Please Read Before You Ask Questions was for. Not sure, never come across this problem before. Are you sure you're up to the stage where it appears? You should have finished all the Vercetti missions and have been presented with a confirmation screen advising you of your new asset. Correct? Link to post Share on other sites

Demarest 24 Posted March 8, 2006 Share Posted March 8, 2006 Nobody presumed you to be dumb. Stubborn perhaps as you had been prompted a few times to provide the info we need to troubleshoot. Do the other money icons show up? I'm not sure what's going on, but I'd be happy to whip up a money code tool that will kill that pickup and recreate it. RunDMC 0 Posted March 9, 2006 Author Share Posted March 9, 2006 (edited) ok one problem though. how do i upload it to you? hey, new news, i started a new game and completed the protection ring asset, and the money icon DOES show up at the mansion in the new saved game i have. its weird. maybe/how could my first saved game be "corrupted" or bugged? and i think i actually remember the money icon showing up in my first game. i think it disapeared later after i completed a few other missions. Demarest 24 Posted March 9, 2006 Share Posted March 9, 2006 It's supposed to show up. Which is why if it doesn't one time (especially when you can still gather cash from it), it's just a glitch.
