Earn $25 million (in 1 hour)

First off i would like to say that i'm one of those people who just can't use cheats and then save it. i hate that record that you have on your 'misc' saying how many times you have cheated. i like to keep mine clean. i've been looking for different ways to earn a TON of money really quickly without using cheats. none of them seemed to work or just bored the hell out of me. finally i came up with one that works but first i will show you a couple of ones that i found.

There are actually a few ways to do this. . . . .

(1) you can gamble and earn a ton, but there's more of a chance that you could loose more.

(2) somewhere on the forums i found that you can go to the betting shop in montegomery and bet all your money. if you loose thats fine. as long as you go to where catalina is and use the save there before you had bet all your money, you're safe. just load the game and try it again. keep doing this until you finally win.

(my way)

i'm guessing that i must have no luck at all because when i tried that, it took me a LONG time before i actually won. i know a way that takes about an hour. i know an hour is also pretty long, but at least its fun. first you need to make sure that you have completed all flying school with all gold. if you did this then you will get the hunter. with this you can complete the "viligate" missions which in this case is call "brown thunder". it only takes about 5 minutes to complete 12 levels. the higher the level, the more money you earn. by the time is got to level 115 is was making $1 million dollars for every level i completed. eventually i accidentally hit the toggle button and my mission was over. oh yes i was pissed, but i earned $66 million after doing this for 2 1/2 hours (yes i know, i have too much time on my hands).

to me this was a lot more better than just betting all my money and having to load it back up and trying it again. it took a while just to even put the all my money in the machine. This is just for those who want to have FUN while earning millions.

Yes I think most people know if you bet and lose, you can reset (you said you read it here, why mnake another topic about it?).

And doing side missions makes money too, yes...

Money is basically pointless in the game anyway, all you ever need is $80,000 one time.

yes i do have to agree with you. except you really more than $80,000 to live off of. i just thought that there just might be someone out there who wants to be a millionaire on the game, but whatever.

to answer your question, i made another post because i've spent a long time looking for the topic about the betting shop but i can't find where its located. i tried using the search engine but it hasn't help me. to tell you the truth i probably read it on some other site i just got mixed up on which site it was.

also . . . my post isn't really about the betting shop. if you read my post correctly you would have seen that. i just put that down because people might want to know a few other ways of how to do that. my post was really about my paragraph on the "brown thunder/viligant missions".

yes i know, its a 'side mission' and i am aware that you and everyone else probably know that aswell (i would hope so). i just haven't found anything on the forums about this either or anyother website so i decided to write it up. i don't know any other side mission that can earn you that much money in that less of time. if you do i would really like to know what because i'm open to all ideas. i may not like it as much, but anything works.

thanks for not giving be a bad rating just because you didn't think outside the box. wink.gif if you can think of something better as i said earlier tell me. i really don't care. biggrin.gif

*Why would you only need $80,000 one time? Some safe houses cost as much as $100,000+, so I would hardly say that money is pointless in San Andreas. I blow like $15,000 everytime I play hooking up cars, so that right there is a good reason to sit on some stacks.

Isn't the only thing you have to spend money on to win the game is the Verdant Meadows airfield ($80,000)... I think everything else to buy is optional unless you are going for 100%.

Or... perhaps you could put in the full HP+ARMOUR cheat 100 times.

Yeah, I know you said without cheats, but the reality is, cheats that can be turned off don't affect your % of completion.

sorry about that, what i meant to say is that i want to go through the whole game without having anycheats on my record (i'm kind of wierd). i have another save file that do cheat on because in reality i love to cheat. i just wan't to try something new.

If you're going for 100 percent, then that's the only reason you need to buy all the safehouses. If you're doing so, you're also doing vehicle exporting, which will give you all the money you ever need.

Gambling, whether at ITB or the casinos, is truly for the hell of it. Like basketball. Except basketball doesn't earn you any cash. CJ can't enter the NBA draft.

If you were doing vigilante in the hunter without cheats do the police not come after you in a while? If so, the hydras would be after you and that wouldn't be good cryani.gif

You pick up very minimal wanted levels when you do this mission in the Hunter (I have done just a little less than 300 consecutive levels and only ever had one star the whole time), one or two stars maximum and getting bribes while flying the helicopter isn't as difficult as it may seem, especially out in the desert or in Las Venturas.

The key to minimizing your wanted levels doing Brown Thunder (Vigilante) in the Hunter is using the machine gun rather than the rockets. It seems rare to get stars at all for shooting cars or people with the machine gun, unless they're cops.

Similarly, you can use the Hunter's machine gun to blow up the other planes/choppers that spawn at Verdant Meadows and get no stars. Use rockets, and you'll get two stars on the first one.

You are almost guaranteed to get one star no matter how you do this. The reason for getting more is not entirely clear but I think it is related to the proximity of police vehicles to your location and how many cars you explode at a time. When I did all those levels (almost 300, which took me all over the map through all the cities and areas of the countryside) I was using the guns and rockets at the same time to lay waste to large sections of road so I could kill the targets quickly, and I still only ever had one star, but sometimes at about level four or five I have picked up two even if I was only using the guns.
