BenMillard 36
You cannot save in GTA1 part way through a chapter. When you complete a chapter your high score and some stats are saved. Discussion about GTA2 should be in the GTA2 Discussion area. You go to the church marked on the paper map to save the game in GTA2. It costs $50,000 to save your game in GTA2. Your first start location is next to the church where your game can be saved. It plays a short loop of organ music so you can locate it when nearby.

demosethell 18
any way not in 2020 to save GTA 1 mid chapter? Im not a fan of mods, but i actually want to do every mission sucessfully, and since the only requiremente for completing the chapter is just get X ammount of money, if i fail some mission, i need to replay the whole chapter, witch is very time comsuming. This is probably what you're looking for, as DOSBox has a "save state" - feature. Please note, though: Quote Save states sadly make the Glide mode crash. If you want to use save state, you have to play in normal mode.

Please note, though: Yep, ive used this pack for so long it was while playing in it that i found the need of a save state. Because i wanted a 100% game and didnt wanted to redo all chapter just because i had screwd up in the last mission. Ironically i found out it had a save state feature built in after i posted that --' But i was so glad it had. Now i can return to my GTA Classics Also ive seen many players saying the normal game play should be in 30FPS. I have a solid 23. Is it ok? or does it feel much diferent? is there a way to config it to have 30 in normal mode? Edited January 26, 2020 by demosethell

You could try pressing "F8" in-game to unlock the frame rate, and if necessary use an external frame limiter (like one of those which come with amd/nvidia - video drivers). It seems the proposed method to adjust the frame rate doesn't work in normal mode (at least it doesn't for me)... Edited January 27, 2020 by AmigaMix
