T<o>M
Ok, so i searched and i didn't find anything to say this has already been asked, so here goes (i am prepared to be flamed if this has already been asked!) So hear goes, Which area in San Andreas is most like the area you live in, in real life? For me it has to be Dillimore, As i live in a small village!! How about you guys (and girls)? Mainland Marauder
I don't live in the desert, but I'd still say the area of Bone County between Area 69 and Las Venturas. Where I live has no official name, is in between a fairly large city (Raleigh, NC) and a military installation (Fort Bragg) and has development around here despite it hardly ever showing up on any maps. Where I used to live would be more like Dillimore, as I lived in a town outside a large, sprawling, smoggy city (being Houston, Texas rather than Los Santos). Big_Smoke20
I'd say that where I live is almost like Ganton.
Konstantinos
Damn slow forum Anyway, my case would be Doherty. Edge of the city, close to the airport, with a lot of construction sites. Although not because of an earthquake . Of course, Prague is much smaller than SF, but this is the closest example.
Nick000
I'd say Pershing Square.
MI7
Nowhere is like where I live really. It's in the suburbs and 2 big cities are a 5 minute drive away, but surrounded by farms/hills/lakes. At a push I'd say the far left of Las Venturas, Dillimore or possibly the Richman area, only with "normal" houses instead of mansions...not that rich . Get Connected. dbrown486
I would live at the beach house in SA. 2 car garage, helicopter on the beach, and controlled by GSF. Close enough to highways and luxury areas to live good, far enough from the hoodlums to not worry about being jacked. Yea, it would be good. But none of SA is like my area. Maybe when they make a GTA:Chicago... Edited February 26, 2006 by dbrown486
MarsMaxx
Id have to say in Mulholland because its Neighbors like Mario Andretti and the Vice President of Just Born Candies make it feel like the area in the game.
Stezza
I live in an upper middle-class suburb in Melbourne. My closest would have to be Prickle Pine in terms of looks. -Stef
shazard
I guess I'd be living in a place thats Angel Pine compined with Hashbury located in Flint County with many lakes added. Also snow and freezing cold during winter. LOL Not really anything like the area I live in SA as it is... I live in Central Finland "The land of thousand lakes"

Eddie_Balla_to_I_Die
I`m not sure what part looks like my street, but Grove Street loks a lot like a small street at the bottom of mine apart from there`s no bridge and the houses aren`t as messy, it`s called Lubas Place, if I had to pic a place that looks like mine it would be Denises street. T<o>M
Ahh yes Shazard, I think its about time there was some russian mafia in GTA, maybe there was in GTA 1 or 2, but i'm not too familiar with them

Mike_Toreno
England doesn't really mix and compare with America, so I guess I can't say where I live matches America's environment at all. But, if I had to say, somewhere in the countryside between San Fierro would be my best say, and that's being generous.
TenkratFIN
I'd like to live in Palomino Creek. Mostly because there's Fisher's Lagoon next to it. Just a village I like.

TenaciousD.
tenaciousd2005, Do you have gun crime and gangs then? we have people attacking each other with BB guns and a load of grunges and goths that dont like each other.

Oh, I got it all wrong. And as shazard said, there's no place that looks like our state very much. Angel Pine or Montgomery, I think.
