Played this game tonight at my friends house for about an hour or so, seems like a pretty good game... Graphics are nice, the sound is good and the guns i've used so far are pretty cool... The whole lack of online play and/or system link thing blows though... I thought maybe this game would have been a nice change of pace from Far Cry: Instincts... It is a kick ass game. Just action action action. and the like make it all about the guns and fire power. Ak's have 60 in the clip instead of the normal 30. There is little/low recoil. I haven't played BF2, but from what I've heard\seen about it, it's better than Black. Black has an intersting story, nice weapons and levels, but it lacks many of the features of modern fps, like jumping and having more than 2 weapons, to name a few. In my opinion, it's a really good game to play, it's fun, levels will keep you playing for a while, since levels are f*cking long. Graphics are great, the explosions are the thing you'll notice the most. Also, I loved the effect when your near death. Sound dims, screen goes black/white, you hear and feel your heartbeats... Sound effects are somewhat average. Music on the other hand, is great. With all that, you will definitely remember the old PS MOH games. (I say this cause I haven't played any ps2/xbox MOH) The downside; no jumping, only 2 weapons at a time, only 8 levels and no multiplayer. Dalpura Posted March 8, 2006 Share Posted March 8, 2006 I played maybe an hour of this today. I'm quite impressed, very decent game. I'm actually only up to the third mission. Mission time for the second was something like 28 minutes, and it just flew by. Definitely going to keep playing this one. Disappointing to hear it hasn't got many levels though. But to me it just looks very weak, trying to have so much style it ends up with none, the guns seem to have no force at all its as if its just like spraying a hose. Each shot should feel like a bullet just came out. I dont like how its mindlessly, just shoot anything type of game, as most of the guns in the game werent meant for that kind of thing. The thing thast worries me is that its only 8 levels long, but as said above, the levels are long. As posted above, does the game have a story line or is it kill kill kill? You can if you want(and if you find one) attach a silencer and go all stealthy, but i guess they were trying to steer away from all that trying to conserve yer ammo etc, as threres so much laying around. The game does have a story line, but its a bit iffy... You play the role of a special forces operative whos in a detention centre/prison and hes giving his acount of things that have happended in the past. sumed up he goes renegade and makes it a personal vendetta to nail some arms/drug dealer. but its well worth getting, detroying everything in sight with an M249, is very satisfying Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is litteraly sometimes a 5 V 30 man battle and its just fun!!! YOUR ALLIES HELP YOU! THEY REALLY DO! THEY ARE GOOD SHOTS! OMG!!! Cons Rather tough, and you can't save in the middle of a game so if you die, back 2 start! ITS F*C*I*G EXECLLENT You can destroy nearly 100% of the enviroment in one level theres a truck packed with explosives. BANG. Its charred remains sitting there. The people around. DEAD. Blow up basically everything doors, walls, barrells, windows literally everything. I MEAN EVERYTHING. I gave this game a ten out ten if i were in your shoes id buy it . Theres checkpoints in the levels. Unlike in battlefield 2 where if you die well basiclly what threesixmafia said. Also the graphics are a million times better than Battlefield 2.
