AT400 Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 (edited) Yeah, as said before, old news. The AT400 is the pretty much the lovechild of a 737-500/A318 (at least in my opinion.) And its pretty easy to fly as well, except when landing in SF sometimes where you might hit one of the taxiway signage or the graveyard where you might hit something because you didn't fly it right. And the Andromada, Yeah I'd say its based more off the IL-76/C5 (I'd said IL-76 because of the size, I'd imagine a C-5 would have trouble fitting in the aircraft Graveyard.) Do wish they brought back the 727ish planes from GTAs before though. Anyways, I'd say it is based off of the 737-500/600 because: The wings and the tail are 737ish and its short. The A318: Its short, the cockpit and engines seem to have a shape that us more familiar with the Airbus Narrowbodies (A318/319/320/321.) And opposed to popular belief, the AT400 is not a slow plane. Its actually quite fast. The only reason why it seems slow is because of A)The size of the thing is pretty big (go to the airport, and look how fast a airliner seems to be going seems like they are going around 50mph when they take-off, but they are acutally like closer to 150mph) and B) the camera angle, another thing that makes it seem slower because you are seening more around you.
