Making some objects

I have a few questions here, please answer even if you aren't positive, i need any help i can get.

This is going to be for a map mod i'm making, it won't be an interior map (if those are even possible to make)

 

1. Can you make objects function like a garage door, or even like a regular door ?

 

2. If so, how would you do that?

 

3. i know i had a third question, but i can't think of it... answer the first two, lol.

 

So please help me out if you know how to do this.
