Any Way to Use 1.1 Patch AND Hot Coffee?

It's a little distracting to blow up cars and watch them retain their nice paint jobs. Fortunately, the 1.1 patch fixes that. UNfortunately it also disables Hot Coffee, or at least that's the impression I've gotten from reading about it online. So ...

Anyway to get the bug fixes that 1.1 brings with it - especially the correct skins for blown up cars - WITHOUT disabling Hot Coffee?
