skiddmark
My prize full proofed SABRE has vanished from the Dillimore garage somewhere between MISAPPROPRIATION and MADD DOGG. The BP FP EP SAVANNA from HIGH STAKES, LOW RIDER changed color, from the black with flames to white. Now this is really weird: My full proofed SENTINAL from St Mark's Bistro has been duplicated in another garage! Now I have two of them, same color and accoutermants as I aplpied to the original at TRANSFENDER. On another note, does anybody know what it takes to date the girl in MONTGOMERY, the one doing target practice on the AMMUNATION roof? I've tried a lot of different duds, nothing seems "stylish" enough for her, not even a Tux.
Mxyzptlk
If you store more than one modeed vehicle in a garage, the poor game's memory may "eat" it, losing the paint job, or the entire car. Listen to what Helena says, you have to change your muscle and fat to get a date with her.
GlockWorkz
Are you on PS2, or PC? If it's PS2, I have no clue. If it's PC, must be something wrong with your PC. Oh yeah, the Sabre one, you probably tried to fit too much things in a safehouse garage. The only time you can fit more then 1 vehicle in your garage is in the garage back in Los Santo's, the one you start off with. pdescobar
Cars disappear from garages; it happens a lot more often if there are several in a garage than if there's just one, but it can happen any time. If you have special cars you really must keep, keep two save files. Check on every special car and then save on slot A. Then use slot B as normal and a few missions later, go back and verify all your special cars are still there before overwriting slot A again. This way you always have a backup with all your cars from not too far back. Even that isn't 100% foolproof though as occaisionally you'll load an old save and find a prized vehicle that was there before is gone now. It's just a buggy area of the game... As for Helena, since you have opened up all 3 islands, just get yourself a map and collect all the oysters. Once you have all 50, the girlfriends drop all appearance requirements and will offer coffee from the very first date.
Mainland Marauder
Collecting all 50 oysters will also bring back Helena or any of the other girlfriends you don't meet in missions (i.e. Denise and Millie) if you've killed them or they otherwise died. This is the best way to go about Helena since she is restrictive, doesn't offer *coffee* until 70 percent and lives in the middle of nowhere. Also, she's pretty much useless except for getting the rural clothes and the admittedly cool Bandito. Back on topic, to minimize the chances of my BP/EP/FP Patriot from the courier missions getting eaten, the Johnson House garage is dedicated to it. I collected all the oysters and still Helena rejected me even after I had her as a girlfriend already. Got too much fat for her taste. Well have to see it works this time.. if I'm not too lazy to collect the oysters. I mean I already have Katie and Barbara and other girls are pretty useless. GTA_Loco
Try turning off your console or PC after a long while of playing, see if this would somehow solve the problem. I believe this sort of "refreshes" the comp or console's memory to read whatever data properly when you continue playing. Worked excellently with me (PS2), I even get to stuff my garages to the full with special/proofed cars. No disappearances or discoloration (Mothership). skiddmark
Thanks for all the great pointers I don't overstuff garages, but I'll keep less than usual in them and use the dual save technique. About the appearance of a 2nd proofed Sentinal that wasn't there before, I'm still scratching my head on that one!
