Problem: Whenever I play any game while connected or disconnected to the internet it minimizes by itself. What's causing it to do this is, this.

 

I've ran AdAware 1.06, Spybot S&D, and scanned my whole computer with mcafee and rid about 6 or 7 viruses and potentially harmful programs, but this still remains. ULWindowUrl gets no results in google, so I'm stuck for what I can do to rid this thing.

Have you tried hijackthis? Get it and post its log.

 

Also, it could be nice with a list of processes running.

That h91746.exe is reported as part of Spywarestrike which is a so called anti-spyware program.

Atleast that's what turned up when I did a Google search.

Keep in mind some of these are in the registry.

The running process 'C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\win708.tmp.exe' restarts itself whenever I try to close it, and even its process tree.

 

For the removal of it, wolf, whould I search the registry strings and remove them?

The best I've found was that something called Ewido can clean this and calls it Trojan.Agent.og.

 

 

NEVER Just take Hijackthis.de word for it says. Just because something is unknown doesn't mean it's good or bad. Yet in this case if _playero_ could read...

Which part of 'your ISP' did you not get? It might not belong to yours, it just might belong to Dom0803's. Hijackthis.de reads what your IP address is and determines if it is part of your ISP.

Now this you can get rid of

Homepage is no bother. I use Mozilla FF, and everyone else uses the AOL Client.

 

But how do I get rid of ulwindowurl? do I remove the registry keys that you noted a few above?

Hmm, now that I'm logged in under me - I notice that on my desktop there is an .exe that can't be deleted due to always in use, called hurl.exe

 

It's one of those definite dodgey files with a virus in it executable, so I dunno how it ended up there, and I certainly wouldn't execute such a file.

 

Anyone know how to force delete something? Gonna do all that stuff you suggested now too, so here goes nothing.

 

EDIT: Ran Ewido, but I'm still getting popups from it saying file: rdgUS2405.exe is in c-windows-downloaded program files, and I'm in the folder now and there's no such file (with hidden files checked as viewable) and all the previous problems are still there. Here's what Ewido got rid of.

Good news. That mysterious hurl.exe I forced removal thanks to hijackthis, and ever since it's been gone I haven't had a SINGLE problem, ULWindow, DOS Popups, everything has vanished and my system is up about 5 gigs thanks to backing and deleting files.

 

Guess I have the exe to thank, as my system got a major overhaul and is uber fast once again.

I don't remember you mentioning hurl.exe before other wise I would have been able to look into that.

There are huge number of results about removing hurl.exe.
