dapaulwall92 Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 Ok, are you tired of the same radio stations, have you noticed that the radio staions had the same music, callers call/play loop and play over and over and over agian. well i am starting the NRSP. ( New Radio Stations Project). This is how I am going to make this, I am going to have like a couple people, then we record stuff from a computer sound recorder ( and when im talkin about couple people i mean my friends) then im going to mix the suff with mix meister or some other program. Go to download.com if you wanna download these programs. Then I am going to download the file and put it on the Rockstar Custom Sound Tracks. But you know i cant do this alone, if you wanna help then go record your own stuff mix it together with music and send it to me. If you wanna help reply to this and wat radio station name. On-topic, I make my own music, if anyone would like to use it on one of their radio stations feel free to (some can be found at my MySpace page and there's some more at my website). The majority of it is instrumental, so maybe it's not of great use (possibly background or advert use, or maybe even someone else could add vocals to it), but I'm English and most Americans hate our accent, so if I did sing, or rap or whatever, you wouldn't like it. Probably. Actually, I just realised, I could easily make my own radio station. If I had the time. I'll think on it. Maybe, like the whole LCS islands thing going round, people could make 'teams' who each make a specific radio station, covering a specific genre/specific type of talk show. Or something. (and I just thought, a music station would require you to either use your own music, or music by artists whose permission you have, to share it on the internet. So pretty much ZERO songs by actual famous/real bands - even if copyright laws do not bother you, they bother GTAForums and it won't be allowed). But yeah, I thought about this as soon as I heard how short the loop that the radio stations are on is, and then again as soon as I started putting custom tracks on. But never could be bothered. This is a cool idea. And this post is probably just a thinly disguised shameless promotion for my music, lol. You know how the custom tracks are for musci tracks! well then when the mp3 files are transefered into the game they are like tracks, everytime you changed the channel or song then the mp3 will start all over again. Anyways, before I get too sidetracked and forget what I was gonna type: So, is someone planning this radio idea or what? Coz it's a great idea, IMO, and it would be cool to contribute. And plus, with this new construction mode added to the cheatdevice, we could (possibly) make a (pointless) HQ for radio stations we make (like the Head Radio building)... maybe. Its called National Gamers Radio National Gamers Radio <Screw the Electron Zone, NGR delivers better, more reliable news> Obviously, all about games. Beware, i had a few problems in the Track EQ effect, so my voice of S117 will sound different. We also play music. This is 16.17 megabytes. Ill post it on Filefront.com (Its not formatted yet) EDIT: I will not upload yet, i need to make sure it will play in CT, and, i need to actually finish the segment after the song, BTW, im using ACID Pro 5.0 for this, so when callers talk, it has the same effect as ingame callers!
