Crokey
Hello All Sorry if this seems a little dramatic, and/or might have been covered before, but I was pointed in the direction of my Airwolf mod here and this guy called antigelo has claimed co-authorship of my mod, which at first look might have been the .txd file had been changed, but no I managed to open up the .dff file in ZMod2, which considering the only person that has an unlocked .dff file is me leads me to believe that the .dff file has been unlocked, quite worrying really. So has anybody heard of this happening to them or know why this might have happend. I've quickly checked on the ZMod forums and there is nothing to suggest this so far, but I'll ask there in case oleg (ZMod's creator) has any idea So if this has been some problem with ZMod, then I hope it's patched up quickly if not then if people get wind of this then the whole problem of Mod Theft could be about rear it's ugly head again. Snow Racer
dff lock is pointless but not for the noobs... what is locked can be unlocked... Zmod have bad dff lock since it was made... many mods have been stolen... There are few unlockers that could be found on russian gta modsite
Crokey
Good, that gives me the right to hunt him down and slap him with a wet fish. The pain in the butt thing is the 'Report Mod Theft' email address at the bottom of the mod page doesn't work... groovy. GC

If we're talking ZMod1, then as SR says, the locking feature is rubbish. Hell, you can download a 'dff unlocker' program for them. Oleg won't be updating ZMod1 any more however, you have to use ZMod2, and its own locking feature instead (which is apparently improved). If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.

Joel Kroll
Sorry to hear about what's happen to you. Yeah, Z-Mod 1 doesn't lock DFFs too well and I've never tried the Z-Mod 2 Lock, but I've heard great things about the locking method for 3D Max. I've been told nothing can unlock it, not even the person who locked the file.
