Version 2.0 Pad Trouble

I just cant believe i found out that version 2 cannot be modified a few days after i buy it. Im trying to use my playstation 2 controller but the game is just not recognising the pad at all. I purchased a usb adapter specifically so ican play GTASA on my pc. So far nothing works. Has anyone had the same trouble????

LOL tell me why I went through the same thing. Regarding your pad: you should try Radioshack and purchase this PS2 to USB adapter (if you dont have it already), make sure that you connect the controller and then plug-in the adapter to the computer. If you have XP your pc should recognize it as a human interface device and label it a controller within your device manager. Look within the following: Control Panel>Performance and Maintenance>"See Basic Info About Your Computer">Click on Hardware>Click on button label "Device Manager">double click on Human Interface Devices>Should be label HID Compliant Game Controller. Check that to make sure its hooked-up right. I wish I could show you a pic of my adapter, it blinks a red led whenits runnin'. -------Now on to the version two get around, the admins on this site are strict on illegal stuff, so I cant exactly say where to go, but Google the something about getting around version 2 , even find something that wont require a disk Im sure you'll figure it out. If that doesnt answer your question then click here Hope this helps you out. Stay strong, they should figure out a way to get around version 2 better than this. A patch would be better I think

My pad works perfectly fine with Pro Evolution Soccer 5. So its just the game thats not doing anything. When i go to refine controls and try to add the controls, when it says please press a button for a specific action (the ??? appears), i press a button on the controller and nothing. Do only specific adapters work with GTASA???
