X-Seti
I'm going to be starting another project soon after SOL: Based on Stargate-SG 1 and SG-Atlantis as a total convertion for SA only. I want this to be alittle different from the basic rampage action where used to, more so RPG, working with AIs (CPUS) to complete missions. I have not given up on SOL (GTA State of Liberty), but I do need a small break now and again from the some old thing, the problems I've had with the SOL project have been a major headache, but we are on the way to finishing that project. moving on.. I was thinking of moving SOL onto SA, but some would say I would be reinventing the wheel, so for me doing something new would be the next step. And posting this ahead of time allows me to gain feedback. Image should be in Models, but I have an odd way of starting with the game map first. Going to update this in full soon. Quadropheniac90
Can I make a website for it? I haven't got anything of State of Liberty to work on now. Oh yeah, it looks pretty cool. .:Teun:.
Suction Testicle Man
The likelihood of completing SOL is already minimal - the introduction of another mod of this size will only further hinder SOL's progress to the point at which it'll never get worked on. If you don't want to work on a mod or cannot contribute further to it, you have to let it go and move on. I've watched this kind of thing happen before, and it will only happen again. If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.

SOL is doing very well now, I've almost done my job with the MAPs and Models in place, I'm now waiting for the SCM coders to finish it off. Tux is well into the missions.. so end of the month there will be a release. With that said, I'm laying the ground for another mod, Something on the side where I do have another group of modders waiting that are more then willing to get this project going, they have the base model. City of Atlantis (3ds model) State of Liberty does have problems, but I can do this aswell (Stops me from getting bored doing the same old thing). Teun: I've sorted the object limits in SOL, no more crashing Edited February 23, 2006 by Mc-Kay .
Quadropheniac90
You mean in what way? Like when placing map objects, or weapons/cars/peds? And the colliding crash? Is that fixed? (sorry for posting here) .:Teun:.
GT.Killer
If you need badly textured stargate, here's one.. ps. makeing it workable is very easy if you are going to use enex teleports from ipl..
Premium
Sounds good. I actually started an atlantis model (aswell as a few things like stargate, jumper ect.) back when sa came out and got quite a few of the peirs, buildings and central area done. My friend stole my sa disc at some point last year and lent it to another friend, so i havent bothered to continue. There was another Atlantis mod floating around but those cat's havent really done squat, and the stuff they have done is very questionable quality wise. Good luck with the mod, i really want to see this become a reality. I may be willing to put my hand up to help out if you need some members or whatever. Keep at it. YeTi
I've actually been thinking about whether it would be possible or not to make a conversion based on the Stargate Series (SG1 and Atlantis). I gave up on the idea thinking that to make it detailed enough you would need alot of very high poly models. Glad someone is attempting it nontheless. Good luck with this if you need a hand with anything just give me a shout. R.I.P. (I work fast) The Atlantis base, I will texture it when I have time to do so, in the summer. I just need to sort out scaling of the Atlantis model, Cut up the sections so they use best part of the SA map, where some of the buildings have interiers. I started on the SGC, but thats unfinished for now, no stargate's made yet. Be nice to have one that lights up and spins (SGC), where the other one on SGA just lights up. I have the X-302 and the X-303 plus a puddle jumper modelled, (I did this sometime ago, I was thinking of just replacing the Hydra with the X-302 just as a SA mod. Now I better get my back side in gear to get SOL sorted and released. .
