trikkstah Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 I heard about it shortly after I got the game, thought the whole riot around it was funny, then much later I thought, lets see what all the commotion is about and came to the conclusion the commotion was about nothing. The low-poly pixelsex is not exciting or entertaining at all and after seeing it I understand why R* left out of the main gameplay in the first place. I would have NEVER come into contact with, or probably ever heard about "Hot Coffee," if I hadn't watched Fox News At 9 for a week or so. Every news channel replayed the sex OVER and OVER, just blocking out the "privates." They not only talked about it, they played VIDEO Clips of Carl getting it on with a girl. After a little thought, it made me sick how people get so upset at a game, when it's no longer just the game that you see it on! It's also in MEDIA. So really, the news should be rated AO, too. I am absolutly tired of hearing about it, there are going to be more Hot Coffee topics than b*gfoot ones soon. I blame rockstar for their smut oriented minds, not Patrick or Barton. I mean I don't know that I'd know NOTHING of this Hot Coffee mod, because I do browse these forums and it would have come up but I DON'T know for sure that i would really have known exactly what it's all about or seen any of it if it wasn't plastered all over the public news!! I mean sometimes the best way to hide something is to .. i dunno. NOT tell everybody about it! A lot of people forget the game was rated M for mature. In Australia, the news anchor would say 'Warning: the following footage may offend people'. I'm not sure about Channel 10 or 7, but that's what Jo Hall says on Channel 9.
