rebel_36
wont shoW up* damn typo.. been trying to get my satchel charge model to work but it never shows up ingame.. ive been trying to get the newest version of txdworkshop to run but w/o success, spent a while searching for alternatives then found an older version of txdworkshop which seemed to work but after all im not sure, maybe it just doesnt show me the error and the txd actually is corrupt.. the problem could also lie within the dff though, as im not 100% sure how the satchels dff is setup, ive only tried it with having the "satchel" object as a child of the "satchel.dff" one (looked at olegs ak47 reference and guessed). before i write a book it might be easier just to link to the files to let ya have a look: http://tjbp.net/upload/p1e.zip maybe my gfx card just doesnt support txdworkshop (crappy laptop), this here made me kinda suspicious: although i dont really have that much of a clue about gfx cards Edited February 22, 2006 by rebel_36

fuckindumass
Slow down, you came to the right place for some help. First, get rid of those stream errors. Open your .bmp in photoshop and go to save as, the last window as you go threough the save process is the format you are saving in. Check OS/2 as Windows Format is not compatable. Alternatives, save your .bmps using paint, or, use .tga or .png in photoshop. Now, retry the newest version of TXDWorkshop. If you are going to use .png, only the newest version supports it. If you still have problems, come back

JernejL
Well, maybe Delphi or someone can help..... DELFI, it is DELFI, ffs, im getting my nickname renamed, nobody cant spell it properly!! The TXD you have in your zip file WORKS in latest version normally, not a single stream error or anything else, the images also import normally, so i believe you are still using OLDER version of TXDW or your DFF is not properly built. the latest version of txd workshop is 4.0 and you can get it from gtatools.com, it works. rebel_36
you say the txd in the zip is fine, now im completely lost.. i had the model for the satchel charges plus the model for the remote detonator in the game and both showed up, then after reading your post saying that the txd would be fine i added it to gta3.img but ingame the satchel charge model is invisible (so is the hud icon) o_O the remote model is visible though as i only replaced the dff, no txd the txd doesnt use any alphas either, exept of the hud icon... so i really have no clue how adding a 100% fine txd could make the model invisible i could ul the dff´s if needed.. Im saying the modded txd doesnt produce any stream errors to me and works in txd workshop normally. have you tried original dff and modded txd?
