[Req] New Signature

[Grandal.]

Name: Grandal + The Academy

Size: 350 x 110 for standard sig, whatever for badge attempt

 

Theme: I would like the sig to be predominately black with yellow being the secondary color. Hopefully this will go well with my text color and ava. Academy themed, whatever you imagination thinks of, be it a badge, cadet, stars...whatever looks good.

 

Something like this but with diffent info on would be great but probably too much effort.

 

Example

 

Resources: Whatever you choose, im not picky. See above for one idea.

 

Colors: Black and yellow if you decide on a typical sig, gold and black if you want to try a badge.

 

Additional info: The Precinct gave me the ok to use a Academy sig but it must look good so that rules out the option of me making it . Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The above version is the signature i made centered, with a link to the academy chat when you click on the signature.

@Rob: Love that design. That's the sort of clean and simple thing that I just can't come up with.

 

@Reincarnated: I like the use of the yellow car with "The Academy" on it; the lights alternating red and blue is a bit weird though.

 

@TheRoper: Wow. That's nicely done. Something about the design makes it seem more like a club insignia (like the Freemasons) than a badge, but that could be me and it also could be meaningless. That's very good stuff.

First, here's a yellow and black as requested. Googled source image + rank & text. Very simple.

For these others, I took the supplied badge image and modified it to have "Grandal" at the top, "The Academy" and "GTAFORUMS" in the middle, and the two-bar rank at the bottom. The sigs use PNG alpha transparency so will probably suck in IE. If you need it, I can probably make GIFs out of them without screwing them up too badly. Because the badge is primarily gold and dark blue, that's the scheme used on these sigs. I like 'em, but they may not work with the yellow post wrapper; an alternative could be the "#f3dda9" used in this part of my post.

The are all very nice, thanks everyone . For now i am going to go with Ropers' but i will probably look into a rotator when i get some time.

Also, I was tinkering with the graphic a little last night and here's one I like a little better. 2 minor changes here, new font for the 'G' and solid black parts instead of having an effect.

I like it better, but feel free to use whichever you like.

 

 

edit: If you use the latter of the three, you're gonna have to change the IMG URL in the code I just gave you of course.

 

edit2: GIF versions look almost just as good, and will display properly in IE, so here's a GIF of the last one. If you want a GIF of the one you're currently using, just say so.
