Demarest
Same program you need to do any scripting. If you're new to this, you're going to be frustrated REALLY quick. Cutscenes are generally not done because their effort to yield ratio is insane. For example, last cutscene I made took about 6 hours to get "just right" and in game, it only lasts maybe 20 seconds tops. LOTS of trial and error and even then, you're limited by the engine. Y_Less
I believe you can also make real cutscene files using (IIRC) Kams max tools, but this also takes a long time as cutscenes are a string of frames which each need to be made separately. ceedj
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but you can create "baisc" cutscenes right inside the SCM, using timers, the widescreen opcode and some of the ped animation opcodes. R* did this a LOT in San An. If you have the time to mess with it, you can get some good camera moves to go right along with it. Just a thought. EDIT: The above may have been what the Demster was refering to in his above post. Prehaps he could post some of his code of what he did so you can look at it? Or else have a look through the San An SCM for some examples there. Edited February 24, 2006 by ceedj I'm actually not against democracy though. I'm against things I think are f*cking stupid. I think this is f*cking stupid. - Sweets

I thought that was the only way possible. Can't post what I have though. It's a secret project that I don't want to release until it is complete because of its sheer size.
