hey i used the sama on my saved file and it say's that we haven't yet done the "beat the cock2 triathlons" but it don't count toward's 100%...where is that at thing at ? and is it a called mission any help

no, "Beat the Cock" is not required for 100% (much like Burglary), even tough SAMA lists it...as you'll no doubt know, SAMA also lists the Unique Jumps, which again, are not required for 100%....

It's not between ur OWN posts but between the last helper and now

Not like u did it at 00:00 somebody else does it next day at 23:59

U cant do it in a minute u have to wait till 23:59 next day if noone posts between.

ok whatever man i been here with these guy's alot longer then you i waited til noone did a mission then i put that in there after the 24 of my last post and i think im on a diff timezone then you are..but im also not gonna set here and fight with you about it...im the thir13en_devil that's on there i have done my mission's like everyone else on here and i think ur new to this chain aswell but i did my trouble on it and im doin fine now ight have a good day

- nobody posted for a while

- 13_devil posted again saying the 5 mission rule is reset at 14:47, Mar 23 2006.

 

So nobody attempted a mission for 30hours and 9mins. So 13_devil was right in attempting another mission if he wanted to because the order got reset. Read the 24 hour rule much more thoroughly. A lot of people (including myself) had trouble understanding it the first time I read it.

According to the check list only two missions are left :

• Los Santos Race mission "Vinewood"
• Stadium mission "Dirt Track"

So the next person to attempt should get 100% if he decides to do Dirt Track also.

I'd just like to thank and congratulate everyone that participated in the chain game, we made it to 100%! It was fun and truly a group effort.

 

We would like to do another chain game & would like to get some opinions on whether to do another Version 1 game or do a Version 2 game. So, how about making a post and tell us your preference.

 

ajkhan will leave this open for about a day...

Yeah great work everyone. I hope someone will keep a copy of this save game file before it gets expunged from Samutz's server.

 

You should use the version 2.0 scripts next time, I guess it is a pain because most regular visitors in this section use 1.0 so they will have to exchange the scripts in their game but that way you won't need two games and the 2.0 people won't be pretty much left out like they were this time when the 2.0 thread got ignored.

i think we should do the version 2 game now; however, can anyone take the savegame and put it up on an ftp server or some other file uploader, something that's permanent? then maybe we could put that by itself as a pinned topic or something.

I am gonna go for v2 chain game because we have already done v1 and I remember telling JAJ when all this started that I wan't to play chain game of different mod everytime.

 

 

lso, since we may have more players, is it worth considering shortening the time for each turn, to, say, 2 hours? or perhaps make it 12 hours rather than 24 before resetting? or best to keep it as is?

 

I see where you getting with that but if the time was decreased to 12 hours, then there will be a lot of restting of 4-mission rule done. Oh and JAJ forgot to mention it but the 5-mission rule is being changed to 4-mission rule.

You can use pdescobars convert program & v2 scripts, with them you can play v2 save files on a v1 game, you can find them here. Be sure to backup your original files first and read the instructions in the readme file.
