LaMeRz
Ok i just got my SA today in DVD format. My first time installing; and a microsoft windows pops up asking me to locate the .db file somewhere in the game. I found it in "Bin" folder and it started installing as per normal. Halfway thru, there was the data3.cab error and the installation shutdown. So i did everything by the book, shutdown all background applications necessary and rtestarted the installation. So heres my 2nd time installing the game, i click on the autorun, after 10 secs there is a install.exe application error - "Application failed to initialize .... (0xc0000006)" Any help is appreciated

Plaka
Before instalation ... disable ALL AntiVirus - Internet Protection software ! If you still get a CRC Error return your DVD to the shop you bought it from it's possibly a "bad copy." If you try to fix the error yourself you'll probably be wastng your time

And i doubt its a problem with my DVD-rom as i was able to play other games, burn cds.. etc.
