crazyanurag
For: chippies Mission: N.O.E. Helper: crazyanurag Link: Here Comments: saved at Verdant Meadows; you have a call waiting; i've left the next 3 airstrip missions for you, as they do not include any flying per se You'll Never Walk Alone Edited February 20, 2006 by crazyanurag
quartet1977
i'm on it, but may i make a recommendation? take the plane out and practice on your own to learn how to maneuver it. none of the flying missions require the kind of precision flying you had to do in flight school, and none have time constraints (Freefall, i suppose, is an exception cuz you can't chase the other plane forever). landings can be clumsy and inaccurate; in most cases, as long as you get safely on the ground, you can simply drive it to the marker and finish the mission. i couldn't even get bronze medals in flight school (thank god for SnP) but i learned to fly and land well enough to beat the missions that require a plane (even freefall, finally, two nights ago). the reason for making this recommendation is that there are several flying missions that, while not easy, are doable and fun, and you'll miss a lot of the game if you let someone else do them for you. all that said, i'll do the first one (N.O.E) now and post a link back here shortly. best to request missions separately because they don't all come one after the other. EDIT: crazyanurag, you must have posted while i was writing mine. oh well, it's all yours Edited February 20, 2006 by quartet1977

You'll Never Walk Alone ha. i write slowly, often poorly. and i edited that post several times. hard to believe you can fly to angel pine and back in the time it took me to write that! maybe i should give up on the advice and just do the missions. You'll Never Walk Alone hey crazyanurag, i see what you mean. i wonder if these get post immediately or if there's a lag sometimes. could mean two people end up doing the mission, but oh well. i like the practice, esp. on the missions i've had trouble with, like freefall. chippies: i do this on a laptop keyboard, so i know how tough flying can be (i won't even attempt flight school). again, practice when not on missions or in flight school. that way there's no additional pressure on you when taking off, flying or landing and you can learn at your own pace while bumping up your skills. good luck!
