Hexhamlad
**please note i wasn'y sure if this was best in here or the gaming section** How would i go about finding a template for a program i want to skin ? there is no literature on the net that i can see that guides me through this, all i need really is the exact sizes of each piece of the skin. i would then convert it into the relevant format. I haven't seen many skins (6 maybe) that arent offical but i certainly havent seen a template. I think that im actually missing something becuase surely there is a simple way to get a template right. if anyone could help that would be great, by the way the program is football manager 2006. thanks again. Bond996
Your best chance is to go into the files for the program, and look around for the skins folder or similar, and base all your work off of the default skin. Are you sure it is skinnable?
Hexhamlad
Yes it is skinnable, so if i base every single section from the orginal i should be fine ??

Yea, and then even if you wanted to extend further, you'd have no issue doing that either, assuming it just reads the pieces in no dimensions. Hexhamlad
the problem i have is that i would have no way of checking the overall look of the skin until the end. unless i obviously loaded the program every time i made a small change. some people have told me that templates are the best way to go, because that way you can use photoshop to slice the large image into all of the smaller images that would be needed. Does anyone have some ideas on how to best tackle this.
