Mainland Marauder
Here's the problem - you can't learn how to have rhythm from anything we give in a reply. You've either got it or not. Here are some suggestions: A) If you play with the sound down and listen to other music or something like that, don't for this mission. It helps to stay in time with the beat of the music. You have to be able to hear it to do that. B) Watch the icons at the bottom and try to hit them as they pass completely into the circle. I realize this is stating the obvious, but the lowrider/dance missions are not easy to give verbal help on. C) Find a friend who can beat the mission for you. If I lived down the road from you I could do it with no problem. I'm a white boy, but I can dance....on the game, anyhow. D) Find a save game file that puts you past the mission. Keep in mind that you don't necessarily have to get a high score to beat "High Stakes, Low-Rider" like you have to in "Life's A Beach." All you have to do in the lowrider challenge is beat your rival NPC in the other lowrider, and he's not that good. Hopefully, you're better. Good luck. t0nedude
IIRC don't use the arrow keys for the directions, use the NUMPAD keys: 2,4,6,8 etc. Tony. Assuming this is the PC version of course

NG66
IIRC don't use the arrow keys for the directions, use the NUMPAD keys: 2,4,6,8 etc. Tony. Assuming this is the PC version of course Exactly! This was the reason that i got zero in the first two tries as i thought it is like in the dance club! After that I used the Num keys, and passed it from the first try with huge difference from the opposite player! I think it is from the easiest missions in the game. syrdax
Hehehe... this mission is giving me headaches too... the annoying part is to drive all over again, no skip trip for this (at least I tried 2 times, after realised no skip trip, just load and try again) Even hard, I have to spend my time watching what arrows are comming so often I can't get to see if I did it correctly or not; sometimes I see the circle getting white and sometimes is not so white, or whatever that is. Anyway, I'll keep trying.
Mainland Marauder
I don't play on PC (my computer would flash a Apple IIe-quality laughing Jolly Roger graphic and cackle mockingly at me for trying to play SA on it) but I've read that system or video card lagging can throw off the rhythm and make these missions difficult. I'd recommend dropping your resolution to the lowest setting before doing the mission if this is your problem. Sometimes consoles can have advantages.
