Justin Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Yes. I have one myself (for CDs, but I'd assume the concept is the same). It salvaged a disc that seemed to me beyond repair. Scratches all over it. Now I don't know how they work, but I do know they do work. I'm sure there's a stage where a disc becomes literally unsalvagable though, mind. I stood on the PS2 while there was a disc spinning in it, gauged a fairly large dent in the disk, and it wouldn't get past the loading screen. Took it to this store and it's working again 100%.
