NicoVercetti
Please, I need some help!! I installed San Andreas in my computer. My computer has the necesary to run San Andreas (258MB Memory, 128MB Video, 2.8GHz, 80GB, Service Pack 2). Here is the problem. The installation was succesfull but when I want to play San Andreas the game doesn't respond. THE GAME RESPONDS WHEN IT WANTS!! I reinstalled it (more than 12 times) but it's the same thing. Also the videos (intro) don't appear. I need some help.

GTAThomas
My specs, runs right at 30fps on lowest settings. 3.1GHz Processor 512BM Ram 256MB Radeon 9250 (Sh*t Card) Dx 9.0c Windows XP SP1 lowest settings for me. (28 - 30 FPS) Visual Effects: Low Resolution: 640*480 Anti Alias: OFF Draw Distance: 0 Good Quality. (15 - 20 FPS) Visual Effects: Low, (better than others IMO) Resolution: 1024*768 Anti Alias: 3 Draw Distance: Full If you ever get SA to run, I would strongly suggest uprading your Memory a bit, 256MB is bare minimum. Does your Card Support DirectX 9.0c? If not then there is your answer. Do you have a legit copy of SA? IDK why the movies wouldn't show up unless it was a scraped download. NicoVercetti
Of course. My card supports DirectX9 and DirectX9 is already installed. Some friends tell me that I have to format the hard disk. ¿Do I have to do that?
NicoVercetti
The game worked only four times.

Some friends tell me that I have to format the hard disk. ¿Do I have to do that? No you shouldn't have to re-format. Did you delete all the user files when you reinstalled? like save games and gta_set file from c:/windows/my documents/username/gta san andreas/ ? NicoVercetti
WAIT!! I didn't delete it. I just delete the folder and the game worked again. I think I have to copy that folder many times so I won't lose my saved files....
